  Tired but handy to everything

  Arrived and had not read instructions properly so couldn't get in. Phone call to Martin, the property manager solved things and he talked me through gaining access to the building and obtaining keys. The apartment we stayed in is tired, with stained carpets and able to feel springs through the mattress. The crockery is mismatched and items missing. It has two heat pumps, and one of them was pouring water down the wall and across an electrical switch. Martin attended to it as quickly as possible and the issue was repaired early the next day. On the upside - the water pressure meant that the shower was one of the best we've experienced. The building is across the road from the beach ( no view from our accommodation) and a two minute walk to the tram, restaurants and shops. The surf club across the road welcomes visitors and serves great meals at reasonable prices in a restaurant that has absolutely stunning views of the pier and sunsets. Would definitely stay again, however the owner of this particular apartment #10 (assuming its in a letting pool) needs to outlay some $ to bring it up to standard.

  Great location, good size apartment

  Good sized 2 BR apartment with excellent kitchen facilities. Fairly quiet apart from the roadworks crew who started at 7am each day - not much we could do about it. Beds are OK. Reasonably clean (the cleaners need to pay attention to things like the couch and backs of chairs) although the apartment overall was a bit tired. The window furnishings needed attention and did not block the morning light well. Despite claims of internet access, no wifi available in the apartment which was disappointing as this was a significant reason for us choosing to stay there. However, an excellent location overall, close to the restaurants and entertainment of Glenelg and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Parking (cost extra) is safe and secure, worthwhile if you have a car, since parking around Glenelg is very limited. Overall, happy with our stay.

  Spacious and Comfortable

  These are comfortable and spacious apartments with all the basic cooking needs and utensils to make this a good base for staying in and exploring the Glenelg area. We stayed in apartment 11. The apartments are located one block back from the beach but only about 150m from the sand. It is in a terrific location within a minute or two from the main shopping and restaurant strip Our biggest gripe about this place is there is no WiFi which is pretty much expected these days whether it is free or paid for. If I could I would give this place 3.5 stars with 0.5 taken away because of having no WiFi. Our apartment had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and the showers good. The rooms large and in good condition for the age of the building. Overall I would recommend the apartment for a family or friends who don't mind sharing.

  Home away from home

  I can't speak highly enough of this lovely apartment, beautifully appointed, with all the mod cons, thoughtful provisions, everything you could ever need in a warm and inviting home away from home. Would thoroughly recommend.

  Good location but needs updating ASAP

  We stayed in Unit # 12 and were excited about staying in Glenelg as we love the area and thought (with the amount I paid) that the apartment would be filled with good quality fixtures and furnishings. Martin was very helpful when contacted to get access and the location is fantastic but the room was very disappointing. If you want to ask for top dollar then make sure the main bedroom has a decent mattress; replace the stained carpet and the bed base (as it squeaks when you move); put in good quality pillows and towels to replace the wafer thin towels and floppy, old pillows; fix the towel rail that is broken and remove the mould in the shower.
