Excellent start to the new year!My self, partner and 2 kids all stayed for 2 nights! We wher welcomed by the friendly staff and took to our room and shown about the hotel! The family room was beautiful, a massive change from when we stayed 2 years ago! Breakfast both mornings was fantastic got exactly what we asked for. We also had dinner and could not fault it. Great staff and food had a very relaxing stay and we will be back! Auchterarder is a lovely place with very friendly locals

Great foodPopped in for food after struggling to find somewhere to eat due to the current Covid and nothing really being open in Auchterarder. Service was great and the food was amazing!!! Myself and my partner both had a starter and a main it was soo good. Highly recommended

It filled a holeThe staff worked incredibly hard and were ever so pleasant...but...the food was really not great. The garlic bread with cheese was just a baguette with cheese on. The batter on the fish had onion in it, maybe left over from doing the onion rings? Just not the greatest quality despite best efforts of the staff. The eat out to help out price was still more than it was probably worth but made it more acceptable.

Food not as good as the staff or the valueWe visited here at short notice - having booked a table just an hour or so earlier. Staff were helpful and welcoming and the tables well spaced in the large restaurant. There were 4 in our party - 2 of us had the Fish & Chips - and the other 2 opted for the Steak Pie. The fish and chips were very good - well cooked, well presented and very tasty. However the Steak pies were a big disappointment. The "gravy" was thin and watery - you expect a thick gravy in a steak pie and in reality this looked a bit like a casserole with a piece of puff pastry put over the meat to give it the "pie" title. Not really a pie at all. The vegetables were Ok - but only OK. Although in England the 50% off "eat out to help out" has ended, this place was still running it in early September (not sure what the deal is in Scotland) - so the meals were incredibly good value for money - for which we thanked them and left a nice tip. We may return on our next visit, but will be careful to avoid the pie on ordering.
