  Picturesque place

  Went racing at market rasen and stopped one night at glebe farm appts. Very friendly owner and the apartment was clean and cosy. All amenities was there and wouldn't hesitate to stop again. Overlooking fishing lake, barbeque on site and free wi fi TV in room and good shower Parking outside appt couldn't ask for more

  Apartment 3 Not suitable for 4 people & needs a good clean

  I booked this as a last minute break for myself and three children with the view of myself and daughter in one bed and my boys on the advertised sofa bed. I am very glad that were only staying the one night as although this apartment was advertised as suitable for 4 (two adults/two children) it really is not. As can be seen by the pictures, space is cramped and with the sofa pulled out (which myself and daughter had to work out by ourselves as it hadnt been done for us), the access to the bedroom is severely impaired. Luckily the weather was good enough for us to eat outside on the picnic benches as there is nowhere to eat inside - well there is a pullout kitchen table with chairs hidden underneath but no space to put it up in, or the sofa and a coffee table which wouldnt seat 4. This really is only suitable for a couple. The setting is beautiful with picnic benches overlooking the fields, a fishing pond and fields of horses. Its such a shame so many other things let this place down. Apart from being cramped for us, the accommodation is very drab and dated but worse than that is the cleanliness (see pictures). Crumbs in the microwave, cobwebs in corners, a vile bathroom cabinet, dodgy tiling around the shower and the quilts and covers feel extremely old and are a yucky shade of was once white. There is a skylight right over the sofa bed with no blind so my boys wont settle tonight as it is too light and Im sure theyll be up with the sunrise too. The skylight is also full of cobwebs. In the bedroom is a window which opens into the side of a barn. In this heat we cannot open it to let air in as the smell is quite strong and so our room is very hot and stuffy. My final gripe is that anyone staying here knows my full name due to it being written on a board on the door. There was nowhere to check in, you just wander till you find your name and the key is in the door - Im really not keen on that system. As Ive said, its a shame theres so many faults as with this setting, with a good clean and a little updating these apartments could be classed as luxury.

  Great week spent!

  100% will be going back! The owners are so friendly and always there to help. Beautiful apartments and lovely surroundings. If you are looking for a few nights away for a peaceful time at a excellent rate then this is definitely the place for you. Great facilities at a great price, couldnt ask for more than that.

  Return visit

  Booked couple of nights so we could visit Lincoln etc. We have stayed before as they are dog friendly and space to walk our labrador Steve is helpful and quick to reply to emails Apartment has everything you need for self catering and lovely and warm when you get there We shall be returning again soon

  Relaxing stay in a lovely setting

  Glebe Farm is in a remote location with lovely countryside views. We stayed for four nights in Apartment 3. It was very clean and well-equipped, and bedding and towels were provided. The apartment has a sofa, a table and four chairs, and a kitchen area with a hob and combi microwave-grill but no oven. The bathroom is modern with a powerful shower in a huge shower cubicle. There is ample parking next to the apartments and plenty of space for a picnic or walk around the lake. There is no food available onsite, but nearby Wragby has several takeaways, pubs and and a large Co-op. Glebe Farm is COVID-secure - hand sanitiser is provided in each apartment and the communal kitchen was closed. We really enjoyed our stay at Glebe Farm and hope to return one day.
