Friendly service, great breakfast, good roomWe enjoyed our stay at the Glass Beach Inn. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Our room was quiet and nicely decorated. We enjoyed relaxing in front of the gas fireplace in the evening.

THREE STRIKES AND YOUR OUTNo this is not baseball; it is a review of this B & B. #1: Needs a paint job inside and out. #2: No hairdryer or coffee pot in room. #3: Located right on the main road. Ok, one more - needs a major remolding We made the reservations for two nights. Had a TERRIBLE nights sleep. So we asked for one night refund - of course - no. But we left anyway; could not do another night. Be warned-do not stay here.

Great friendly welcome by the ownerThe couple who own it go out of their way to be helpful, pleasant and accommodating. The facility is outdated but very clean. The breakfast served was adequate. The facility was well patronized and the other guests were lovely and friendly.

Cozy place, super-friendly owners, good locationWe visited Mendocino Fort Bragg during a long weekend and booked this place using last minute deals. Glad we chose this place. It is a cute little white and blue house at a perfect location, with the famous Glass Beach at a walking distance. There are multiple restaurants (high rated ones) within radius of 0.5 miles (walkable definitely). There are, I think, 5 rooms for guests and the owners are Richard and Nancy, who stay in the same building on top floors. There's ample parking space, we counted 8 places spots. Check in process was smooth, we rang the front door bell and Nancy received us. Since then till we checked out and left, all we felt about Nancy was her super high energy and warmth for the guests. She is definitely seen quite a lot, because we figured out we are of her grandchildren's age and mind you, we are not in our twenties!! Visa/Master credit cards work for payment. She'll have nice long chats with you and show you to your room. The room was very spacious (we had room no.1 - it's facing the main road). Washroom is clean and provided with all basic needs. There was a small refrigerator, a TV and a microwave (we didn't use it though). The heating was perfect. We needed it throughout since the temperature outside was around 40-45 (Fahrenheit). We didn't check for WiFi though since we just stayed overnight and reception was good on our phones. Bathroom had perfect hot water. Doors and windows locked fine and had blinders (you will need them since this room was almost on the road). We had breakfast included in our booking. Check with them beforehand because it looks like they are gonna change their policies around breakfast in some time. The dining area is small but perfectly laid out with coffee, tea, milk, toasters, condiments. Richard, Nancy's husband, makes the breakfast fresh as you order it. You would have 2 choices to choose from and Nancy would be serving you with everything you need. We had one of both options and it was yummilicious! If you are vegetarian, you will still have options like fresh fruits, toasts, potatoes, milk. Non-vegetarians have eggs and sausages/bacon. Our stay was short but really good. Nancy and Richard are great caretakers and you will feel at home with them around. Room's pretty well-priced (when you compare with the chain hotels) and amenities are enough. It's not 5-star accommodation but rather a bread and breakfast inn with all the personal touch you can care about. Thanks Richard and Nancy for the wonderful stay. we would definitely come back and stay with you.

Great friendly atmosphereClose to everything (However, Ft Bragg isn't too big) and I was able to walk to the Glass beach every day as well as being close to trails for running. The rooms are dated but comfortable and the staff there are amazing and helpful. We stayed in the Oriental Jade room which had a fire place, plenty of space and seating. The breakfasts were really good each day. (We stayed there 3 days).
