  Must visit!!

  The stay at the Glacier View Lodge was the highlight of my Alberta trip. The place is astonishing and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Kelsey and Duncan were incredible!!! You guys rock and made the experience so special. You two are a true asset to the Lodge and the reason I will return back and visit next year. The room was super clean and spotless and made the stay during Covid feel very safe. The maintenance/housekeeping gentleman (from Oct 3rd and 4th) was so helpful and wonderful as well. The dinner included in the VIP package was so worth it and delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Alberta, 10/10!

  Lobby Views!

  We picked to stay here because of the lobby. It was the most beautiful A-frame window and I couldn't stop looking at it. The rooms were so gorgeous and perfectly clean. We liked the location as well because it broke up the trip and the long drive. It was honestly so close to perfect. My only issue was with the restaurant. For such a beautiful hotel, the restaurant felt like an overly priced hostel canteen. There was a huge table of teenagers shouting, playing their own music out loud and speaking to the staff as if they were all best friends which took ages to get the waiters attention. The prices did not reflect the setting of the restaurant and the restaurant did not reflect the hotel price. There was harsh lighting, no music and a very hostel type feel with the other guests. Other than that, we truly enjoyed everything and wish we arrived earlier to spend more time there. I would absolutely recommend but just find a way to bring your own food somehow.

  Pleasant surprise!

  Our room was lovely and absolutely pristine. Daniel and Duncan who were the two people on staff that we had the most interaction with were both engaged, friendly and very pleasant. The Altitude dining room had great food. We had booked a one night package which included dinner, breakfast and the skywalk. Covid -19 safety protocols were carefully adhered to. We were very pleased with everything, and had no complaints.

  Cozy & Intimate Stay

  Who wouldve thought that theres a such a cozy hotel right above the busy Columbia Icefield Discover Centre! I have to say pics of the lobby caught my attention and made me want to stay here at first. But one has to experience what this lodge has to offer and then youll agree that it is an unforgettable experience. From the fireplace and the view in the lobby, the complimentary delicious coffee and hot chocolate from a high end coffee machine, to the knowledgeable staff (Kelsey is the best!!) which took his time to talk to us about stargazing and those secret hiking spots. Weve spent our wedding anniversary here and is definitely one that we will always remember! We were lucky enough to be able to be the last guests of 2020. Thank you!!

  Perfect Place To Unwind

  An incredibly relaxed and personal stay. No pool or gym, but other fun options like board games, stargazing with a guide and the skywalk. Ask for Kelsey as your guide, hes so friendly and knows all the best spots in the area. This lodge has an epic Swiss coffee machine with endless refills, Banff tea, and all the bathroom products are from Rocky Mountain Soap Company. It was beautiful and quiet. The perfect place to unwind.
