Great location but I dont think All rooms are created equalReally enjoyed the remoteness of this place The restaurant was spectacular and the location was amazing Only drawback is that some of the rooms were more old-school than others and I thought that was a bit surprising and disappointing

Great Getaway in the Gaspe! This is the first time we stayed at the Gite de Mont Albert in the hotel. I had won a gift voucher for the one night stay which included meals! The hotel is quite impressive and the rooms are so very comfortable and very clean. We had a few problems since the air conditioner was not working. The staff was courteous and immediately offered us another room. I appreciated the customer service. Howevwe there was another roblem. The tv offered 15 or so French channels which was ok as we are bilingual. However the one English channel CTV had no sound and was permanently muted. we hope this issue will be addressed as itcould copuld affect Anglophones who are unilingual and American tourists in the future. The restaurant offered delicious meals and we enjoyed the dining experience!

Expensive, but not worth itWe stayed here for two nights, the rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for our first nights and were not impressed with the service. The waiter looked uninterested and made us feel awkward. There was spa music playing in the background and i felt like i was about to fall asleep. The food was ok, but when asking questions to the waited about the menu he kept looking at his note pad, as if he had no knowledge of the menu. The Dishes are expensive and there is not alot of variety to chose from. They have the same dishes for lunch and diner. There is nothing around the hotel, so you are stuck eating at the restaurant all the time or having to drive 40 mins out of town to get food. Eating at the restaurant gets expensive very fast. There is no dépanneur in the hotel, so you need to make sure to have everything you need on hand. Beware that there is no service at the hotel and the tv has only a few basic channels. The wifi is not very good and keeps getting disconnected. Overall was very disappointed with the hotel, as its considered to be an expensive hotel, doesn't live up to the expectations and reputation of the hotel.

Great stay in the heart of GaspésieWe had a lovely spacious and very clean room in the main building. The restaurant was a bit pricey, but the location was perfect, with several hiking trails starting across the main road. The heated pool was welcome after a long day in the mountains.

Excellent stayWe were at the Gite the Mont Albert about 15 years ago in the summer, and the inn made an impression on us; since international travel is restricted, we decided to do some fall hiking here. Its a wonderful remote place run by SEPAQ - Quebec National Parks (the closest town is Ste Anne des Monts on the St. Lawrence River about 40 kms) Our room in the main building was very comfortable. There was a small tv in the room, which we didnt use, and the wifi was weak. We knew this and werent expecting a lot of facilities. What we wanted to do in the three days was hike in the Parc national de la Gaspésie and eat good food at the end of the day. Its true that guests may run out of choices if theyre staying more than 3 nights but the quality of the meals definitely compensated for the variety. They had an even more limited lunch menu but they offered packed lunch for hikers. A couple days we also drove down to the towns along the St. Lawrence in the early afternoon after hiking in the morning. It was a great getaway and if it wasnt too far a drive from Toronto, we would go there often. As an aside, I wish the Ontario provincial parks offered an inn of the same calibre as the Gite du Mont Albert
