    Wonderful time in Gisela Hotel

We were for the second time in this hotel, the hotel is parfait, the rooms are clean and beautiful the food there is really delicious, the pool and saunas, are nice. Oh, the staff are freandly and helpful. If you like Tirol's partys, better is to go there in end of August or start of September, you can have all info in hotel.

Wonderful holliday in Sautens H. Gisela

The hotel is located in the small town of Sautens, Otztal Valley, is saucy, neat, clean, and is the owners of this establishment are particularly friendly and available to guests. The food is good, fresh, served at the time, typical Tyrolean restaurant. The place offers memorable views and stay with many memories. Here you can return with love!!! It's also a place where you can go and visit the entire Otztal Valley!!!

    What a relief

A group of 5 of us stayed here for a few nights at the end of February. We made a last minute booking after our original hotel fell through. So when I read some of the reviews on Tripadvisor I was nervous. No need! For the price, this place is great. Friendly and very helpful staff that go the extra mile, great food, spacious rooms (at least ours were), and great spa facilities. Also ski and boot storage room and a bar. There were only two issues. The shower in our room was very short and you had to hold the shower head to use it. The hotel is too hot! We had doors and windows open all the time but it was still hot. That could be an issue with small children and you wouldn't want to leave the doors open. Apart from that I would recommend and stay again. Hotel is 35 mins drive from Solden (amazing resort), and about 10mins from other smaller ski areas. Busses are available. A taxi back from Solden at 1am cost us 14/person.

    Good value for money

We had a nice stay at the hotel in January 2018. It was a family ski trip and we booked 6 rooms. The location is great close to the bus stop and around 1h trip to Solden. However, there are a lot of slopes closer to the hotel like the ones in Oetz or Kuhtai worth checking because they are less crowded. The service was great, the ladies at the restaurant and the chef were amazing and really helpful. The food was really good too. The only issue we had it was with the owner, an old guy who is not that nice :) At first for the same money they gave us a tiny tiny room, we asked to be changed and it was ok since there were not so many guests and rooms were available. But they did not inform us that we need to pay the village fee until the very last minute and when we asked why this info is not displayed anywhere, they said that this is their policy to not show the information and if we dont want to pay they call the police. Very rude! Also the spa area was closing at 7 and we didnt have time to go. We asked to be changed and after begging the owner he agreed for one more hour. On a positive note, the spa is really nice as well, great relaxing place at the end of a ski day. Even tough is far from Solden, it was a great decision because due to havy snow the Solden slopes and roads were closed, so we could ski on the closer ones: Oetz and Kuhtai. Good location but the owners are ruining the vibe :) Even the neighbours warn us!
