  very good for Ginka

  this is very good for Ginka that have good environment, good service, good food and good room. All are very good that I am so satisfy for Ginka and I will be come again next time.

  Fantastic, relaxing experience

  We spent two nights at Ginka and it was the most friendly, relaxing experience. The staff picked us up at the train station and brought us to an understated building, well kept up and impeccably clean. Our room, with tatami mats on the floor, faced the river and it was wonderfully peaceful to sit and watch the water and the activity on the other shore. The staff were friendly and they assigned us a hostess who spoke English very well. When we needed rides to and from town they provided them. We had breakfast and dinner there, both delicious. One person in our party was vegetarian and the chef did an excellent job of coming up with creative, delicious vegetarian alternatives to the set menu. The non-vegetarian food was superb: one night our multi-course dinner featured local crab prepared in all sorts of ways, and the other night we had a variety of dishes, including the best beef I've ever tasted. Then there are the baths. The private bath was wonderful, but the public baths were even better, especially the outdoor one. Everything one would need was provided in the changing rooms. I highly recommend it.

  Incredible view from our room, fantastic food

  As soon as we stepped into our room and saw the amazing view of the river out our window, we knew we'd chosen the right place. The room was very spacious (a commodity in Japan) and we even had our own private onsen right in tyhe room. Tiny cute little crabs could be seen moving about outside our window and around the hotel, which, as we found out, are a big pull for crab-fishers in the wintertime. This added to the overall charm. The food, both at dinner and in the morning, was fantastic and had great presentation. The staff were polite and gracious at all times. The hotel also offered a free driving service to and from the hotel into the small village that could be used at any time of the day up until 10pm. If traditional Japanese cuisine and an authentic "ryokan" experience is what you're looking for, then this is definitely the place for you. Quiet, relaxing, charming and a good value. If we get the chance, we will definitely return someday. Highly recommended for a one- or two-night stay.

  Highly recommend

  We were very satisfied with this onsen hotel. It is modern and private. The room is big and has a tranquil view of the inlet. The service was very good and the dinner was excellent. You can find a lot of heart put into their service. The only thing is they do not have wifi at all.

  excellent food and serivces

  It's a lovely ryokan serving high-class cuisine. We had the pleasure to enjoy wonderfully prepared fresh crab and local beef, which were certainly a highlight. Excellent services and English-spoken staff. The garden is still too young (small trees) to feel really charming though. And for couples who like to take outdoor onsen bath together, it's a shame there is not such a possibility (but this seems to be the standard in Kinosaki)
