  Great Hospitality, Fantastic Food

  What a beautiful house, in a nice location, with superb food and wine. Massimo was a fantastic host - he gave us all the information we needed to get there by bus and then, next morning, insisted on driving us to the station. La Ginestrella was a truly wonderful experience.

  My Boyfriend and me stayed for 2 nights at this Agriturismo. I can only recommended to everyone. The people are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, big enough and very nicely arranged. The food is amazing, everything hand made, like it has to be for an agriturismo ..in the moring cakes and sweets but you can also request a salty breakfast, with eggs bacon prosciutto cheese etc... If you stay there you definately have to have dinner there just awesome... and not expensive. They have traditional dishes from Umbria and also from all around Italy. Plus self made wine "vino della casa". Grazie mille

  The best place to experience Umbria and its food!

  We spent two nights at La Ginestrella, and we had the most amazing stay. The agriturismo is right in the middle of the Umbrian countryside with amazing views from the windows. The rooms are big, clean and silent (but be prepared to be waken up by the cockerel, we are in the countryside after all!). We were welcomed by the lovely host Daniela, and after a swim in the pool, we enjoyed dinner at the agriturismo. The food was so delicious we decided to have dinner there also on the second night! And for breakfast we had the choice of numerous lovely cakes, as well as savoury. A very cosy and friendly environment which makes a holiday special... we'll definitely visit again!!!

  Great experience for the first time in Umbria!!!

  I spent four nights at la Ginestrella, from the first moment they made me feel at home, a very friendly family, beautiful place !!! and very clean, not to mention the food was delicious!!!!!!. Massimo was very helpful and great host!!! (he gave rides to places and pick me up at the train station) I will come back again. Thanks a lot for you hospitality!!!

  Family-run Agriturismo in old house 15 mins drive East of Perugia.

  Spent 2 very pleasant nights here. Family in charge and you do get looked after. Clean room. Good views. Lovely walk across to Ripa (30-45 mins). Breakfast fine but there were an awful lot of homemade cakes... Not expensive but full of Umbrian character. And that family-feel that is an antidote to a lot of things...
