  On our way to Kiel for the ferry to Klaipeda

  I stayed here recently with my brother as we were on our way by ferry and road from England to Lithuania (for me) and Riga in Latvia (for my brother). We needed to rest and my brother had stayed at this hotel in the past and knew it was a good place. We had a lovely room with everything we needed for our one-night stay. The breakfast next morning was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and efficient. We would definitely recommend this hotel but ask for a quiet room as the main road is rather busy.

  A Cozy Friendly Hotel

  It was a pleasant stay in a nice, fairly small hotel with an amazing atmosphere and nice, welcoming staff. It's walking distance from train station to either Bremen or Hanover. Breakfast was great, I certainly recommend this hotel

  Delicious Game

  We had dinner on the 20th January, cold, rainy, still had some snow around from the night before. The restaurant was almost empty early, just a couple of locals at the bar chatting away. The female serving lady surpriced us, her english was very good and polite, even the traditional northern german dish of "Grünkohl" stewed kale cabbage with smoked pork and a special grit sausage she found a very entertaining way to explain it. We ordered a tomato soup, very good, mushroom soup a bit watery, for the main course we had "grünkohl" very tasty, rich and a large portion and grilled deer filet with wild mushroom and cooked red beet not the normally heavy red cabbage, picture uploaded. A great combination, very good! Good food, attentive service, reasonable prices, but not a trendy modern restaurant. Overall still a good night out.

  Family run hotel

  A family hotel of the highest standard Great rooms Excellent staff Nothing too much trouble Food absolutely spot on, and when a mistake occurred due to language the wrong food was immediately removed and an extra starter brought, gratis, as a 20 minute wait was involved Have stayed there before and would definitely go back

  Stop through on a roadtrip!!

  Great hotel. Easy to find. Parking close by. Friendly staff and the breakfast was very good!! The room was comfortable and clean!!plenty of room for 3 of us to stay. I would stay again if I get back to the area!!!
