  Lovely Hotel!

  My wife and i have just returned from a wonderful 5 day break in Basilicata and were very lucky to have stayed at this hotel for our visit. The hotel is decorated with lovely hand painted furniture and is beautifully clean and bright. From the moment we arrived the service was very friendly and helpful, including the welcome glass of wine, snacks and a lovely bowl of fresh fruit, a very nice touch, Thank you. The hotel garden is also very nice and offers a very quiet relaxing space including a lovely pool. Breakfast is also very nice with a good selection. Also very nice coffee! Very highly recommended for a visit to Bernalda or the surrounding areas.

  Lovely quiet and relaxing hotel

  Intersting location, as followed the google maps directions we thought something was wrong, driving through streets of appartment blocks with no sign of a hotel... but then there was the gate to the hotel, and once we got in, we were positively surprised. Lovely garden, large clean rooms with little terraces, like a quiet oasis in it all. The staff was really friendly, and breakfast nice too. Would certainly recommend it!

  What A Gem!

  We spent 5 nights at this delightful, peaceful hotel and loved our stay from beginning to end. Hotel sits overlooking the Bernalda Valley, which you can see while splashing about in the pool. Pool area is wonderful, the grounds are dotted with olive trees and bougainvillea and oleander bushes give great colour. Our room (No 12) was large, very comfortable, clean and well appointed, with an outside sitting area too. The hotel provides breakfast, and you need to make your own plans for lunch and dinner. Not a problem as the town of Bernalda is only a few minutes walk away.There are only 12 rooms, so there is a comfortable and friendly vibe. A few guests were using the hotel as a stopover during a longer touring holiday. Most liked it so much they stayed longer than intended! The staff were exceptional, very helpful, very friendly and informative. All in all, a lovely holiday in a gem of a place!

  An absolute gem!

  We spent three nights at this hotel and just loved it. Its a simple place, not some grand palace or boutique concept but it in so many ways the overall a experience was better than many of the fanciest hotels Ive stayed in. Its honest, impeccably clean and the service of the charming, generous family that run it is so welcoming. The warmest greeting upon arrival is backed up by an attitude that nothing is too much of a problem. In fact we messed up our booking and were arriving a day early and, even though they were fully booked, they juggled something around and found a place for us. The best feature of the hotel itself are the lovely little gardens and a cute retro pool that create a little oasis in what is a residential corner of the town. Its about a 10 minute walk to the main drag and they have bikes available to make that shorter and to give you some idea of the service, one day we got caught walking back from town in a rain shower the owner spotted us on the street and insisted on giving us a ride back. While its an older hotel its well maintained, good air conditioning, and the breakfast is simple but decent. The one thing they could improve is the WiFi but for the price youll be happy.

  Great Hotel

  We spent 4 days at this oasis with our family. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms are spotless. The pool is great and the gardens are lovely. You can walk into town. I highly recommend.
