    no value for money

The place in general is good. Parking, pool, restaurant, bar. However the rooms are really outdated: wooden doors and windows not in a very good condition, bathroom really small and the plumbing old and squeaky, no hot water. They only provide some free soaps (no shampoo, no shower gel) and sometimes they do not change the towels daily (we had to remind them to). The breakfast served was just bad and had no variety, considering the place is also a restaurant. The highlights: only filter coffee from a machine, cheese/ham slices that have flies on them, bread from some days ago.

    Nothing extraordinary

Food was ok but not extraordinary, as you would expect to have in a traditional Greek village. Simple and mainly grilled food is on offer usually. They do however offer fruits and suits at the end. There is also no transparency in their billing as the customer never sees a receipt.

Very good choice for fish or meat

We had a really long time to try the place. We visited Giannikos a Saturday evening, difficult w/o booking. The food was very good, either meat or fresh fish. Although the place was full, service was above average, whilst prices were pretty fair compared to the quality of tastes. Recommended preferably all other days except Saturdays.

    Great food bad smoking

Best souvlaki in the region. Its home made and just delicious. Great service with very friendly staff. One big problem: smokers. Greece doesnt follow the rest of Europe in caring about others health. The table next to us decided to blow their smoke in our face to keep it away from them. To make matters worse, it was the owners son and friends. Very sad.

smoking is an issue at this restaurant

best souvlaki in town, but the owners can't seem to control the smokers. it is a tight space and difficult to avoid the cigarette smell while eating. service was so so. the town is quaint and worth visiting. too bad, I will not bring my kids there again.
