  Near-Death Experience

  Ive been going to Geobay Hotel and after this trips, it will be my last visit. My child nearly fall through this window that was opened. We checked in late and the windows, both day and night curtains were drawn. The windows cant be seen at all and my child leaned against the curtains towards the opened windows. Imagine if we didnt catch him fast enough, he would have fallen from the 3rd level down. The layout of the window was already weird as it was right below waist from ground up and has no safety features. Ive attached some photos for all who are checking in, especially with kids, to take note. Ive alerted the staff but sadly to say, I have not much high hopes of them doing anything about it after giving them feedback about it. For those still considering this hotel, just take note of the windows on the 3rd level and enjoy your stay there.

  Just a budget hotel

  Not suitable for families. Cant connect to WIFI at all, so better be prepared with your own roaming data. This is really a No-No despite claiming Free Wifi in the premise. Took a Superior Triple Room that had a single bed + Queen Size bed. Pillows were too soft and flat that we woke up with bad ache. Comforter was torn and you can see the inner filling sticking out. Room had just a small window pane, and most smaller rooms were windowless without sunlight. Toilet Spray was faulty. Water just sprayed all direction when turned on. This hotel is more for a sleep-over and leave, no facilities no restaurant no nothing. Lift is very tiny as well. Not suitable for relaxation or families.

  Worst hotel Ive ever stayed at

  We booked a room here and it was far below expectations. First of all the room they put us in absolutely reeked of smoke. They claim the hotel is no smoking but that guests smoke in the bathroom. I find it very odd that the hotel tolerates this. Its both a fire hazard and it is disgusting. They got us another room that didnt reek of smoke however it was two twin beds instead of a double bed. Next morning walking down the hallway there was a cigarette butt on top of the trashcan so obviously this is not a non smoking hotel. Tv didnt work to turn on. WiFi did not work. Safe did not work. Stains under the tv and on the light switches. All in all a very unpleasant experience.

  Small but cozy

  Where i had stay, the room is small. Not that small that i can't move freely. But just enough for me. I checked in a twin sharing room. Room size apart, it is quite comfortable. Good and adequate must have furnitures, for those who do a bit of work in the room. Bathroom. Luxurious to my eyes. Just beautiful. And surprisingly large for a "budget hotel" You will love to walk around the hotel. Lots for eateries, shops and a park, where you can jog. Or just sitting there enjoying the sound of the crows. The only gripe i had was that, this hotel has no free parking. You will get a ticket if you park and did not display or pay the parking fee. Or park from 6pm til 8am the next day. Overall. Nice, clean and rather small hotel.

  1. Kindly look into water pressure especially on Level 3. 2. Need to send maintenance to check every room as part of preventive. 3. Do check on the height of the window panel. ( Better to lock it or state a warning sign )
