Excellent Stay...
We were backpacking through Vietnam and this place was definitely beyond our budget (I think we paid around $40 per night). But we were also looking for a slightly higher-end place after staying at hostels for several days. We went in just to inquire and the main reason we took the place was because of the enterprising nature of the hotel manager, Mr. Duc. He sold the place well, and was super courteous. It was not a hard sell but rather a welcoming attitude that led us to come back to this place even though we found slightly cheaper options elsewhere. The room was great with a nice beach view. All of the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was included. On one particular day, If you are looking for a slightly expensive place with all comforts, do go here. Will give 5 stars - for the place and the people running the place.

Modern and clean
Modern and very clean hotel with friendly personnel. The only "problem" in our room was that there was no curtain for the small window, making the room very light early in the morning. The buffet for breakfast offers a wide range of food and drinks. A pitty that the bar did not open.

excellent value
We stayed at the hotel for a number of days, and were very impressed with the staff there. They were very helpful, answering all our questions efficiently, in very good English, The hotel was clean, spacious, quiet, bed very comfortable. We had some bad weather for one day(cat 2 hurricane!!!!), and the staff looked after us well, making us their priority. Breakfast was good, the manager in charge, only wanting to please. All in all, a good hotel with excellent staff.

Disappointing
After 9 days travelling around Vietnam and enjoying wonderful hospitality, we were bitterly disappointed with our stay here. The only hotel where we didn't feel welcomed, the security guy outside helped us with our luggage and when I said no to paying upfront for a room I hadn't yet stepped into, they insisted on holding on to our passports even though it was the only hotel to have verified my credit card in advance. The shower was a tap operated one just above waist height and there was a shower curtain rail with hooks but no shower curtain, when we queried this we just got a shrug. Breakfast choices did not look appetising though the eggs/omelette was acceptable but the coffee was barely tepid. The room was OK and beds comfortable with a river and sea view, though the small sea view window had no curtain and the riverview was actually a construction site and river view! In fact, within 12 maths this hotel will no longer have a river view! On one evening drinks were deliver to our room, the following evening this was refused with them insisting that we collected them from reception. We requested the room be made up, the food was swept, although a green jelly type blob of something on the floor wasn't removed, and the towels were replaced, but the beds were not made. On checking out we were informed that the soap dish was broken and we were expected to pay for it although they did back down when we insisted that there were definitely no breakages of any kind! I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Wouldnt bother!
Staff are not that friendly compared to other places in Vietnam. And English seemed a struggle with only a few speaking it easily enough to be understood. They asked to keep our passports on checking in and when I refused, she got annoyed and demanded a cash deposit. Breakfast was very disappointing, we didnt eat there. One morning there was no hot water. The bed was very very hard by western standards. It is close to the water but thats about it. Its quite a walk to the main tourist restaurant area.
