Nice romms for rent in an elderly peoples' homeExtremely pleasant surprise. This elderly peoples' home rents free rooms as hotel rooms and they couldn't be any nicer. Rooms are large and perfectly furnished with all the trimmings ideal for elderly people who might have mobility problems. But it is also ideal for business trips because it is comfortable and quiet, WiFi is good and the large living room allowed me to conduct several WebEx meetings and do some work in comfort. The location and neighbourgs are nice and quiet. Personnel were very nice, even if their English was limited.

Something a little differentIt's a bit weird at first but actually the accommodation is very good and our suite very spacious. Excellent free wifi in the rooms. We chose to stay here because it offered a kitchenette so we could self cater. The facilities are adequate but cooking equipment limited. We really enjoyed the orthopaedic beds! The grounds are attractive and the location on the edge of town convenient if you don't like driving in inner cities. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and it's very easy to take the regular buses into the city. Just one criticism is the lack of parking spaces for hotel guests.

Hotel with a difference.Booked on line. Had less expectation, but was very pleasantly surprised when I checked in. Firstly front staff were very efficient and helpful. Getting into the room, realized it is very spacious. It is a property which is in a big expanse and built spaciously. Clean rooms. The front space and the dining space put together itself can be sufficient for a moderate size hotel. Suites are such that it gives a feel of a 7 star suite in luxury hotel. Breakfast was good and sumptuous Very nice experience. Definitely recommend for my fellow travellers to give a try..

"Near death experience"This is NOT a hotel. It is an elderly home where they use the spare rooms as an "hotel". You will have breakfast together with the rest of the elderly and share the pool and bowling also. Be aware that the "restaurant" closes at 1800 and there is no bar or anything to do after that besides using the pool - if it's not booked for fysio therapie. You will not have to worry about how many people have had sex in the bed you are sleeping in - you will be wondering how many people have died here. As I said - no bar, no restaurant after 1800 and no parking... And if you book from hotels or booking breakfast will not be included. The staff was nice but we would have liked to get information about the pool being booked for treatment when trying to swim with the kids. The rooms are big, clean and totally ok. In short - a good place to stay if you are visiting a relative. If not - think again...

Senior MomentsIn spite of the inconvenient location, and the fact you share the halls with senior citizens in residence, many of whom are confused and intrusive, the hotel is very nice, and the spacious suite of rooms offer many amenities. If previewing your life in future decades is not a depressing prospect, and you don't mind a fifteen minute bus ride to the historic center, this place is a good deal. Be forewarned there are no stores or restaurants in walking distance.
