  Una maravilla

  Hotel muy tranquilo, habitaciones muy limpias y espaciosas. WiFi en todo el hotel. Disponen de transporte gratuito al centro de ubud (queda a unos 10 min) Desayuno normalito. El restaurante (Cibo) y el gelato son excelentes, con un servicio estupendo.

  Worth Every Penny

  Only spent 1 night in Gaya Villas. First experience came there, and was overall happy for it. Love the pool and the view. Too bad Bali was in rainy season so I did not spend too much time in the pool. Staffs are very kind and helpful. However, I think the room and bathroom need some improvement - but overall I did not have too many complaints on that. This place is suggested for a short escape trip or honeymoon.

  Great little hotel

  We stayed in Ubud for 2 days and one night at the Gaya villas. the pros are the room was nice and set away from the street. Calm peaceful and clean room. We had access to the common pool and when were there in November 2014, very few people at the resorts so it was low traffic and very pleasant. The staff were very sweet and kind. There is an outdoor shower which i loved - given the weather and the secluded nature of where the shower was located - off of the bath room. We also did a massage which the technique was great but the weather was too warm for the room - no air conditioning - so made it less enjoyable. Also they lost power during the massage so even the fan stopped working. The cons are the rooms / resort are a bit dated. Its a bit far from the heart of Ubud and the cultural center. Not really walkable in the toughest of climates (pre rainy season). The bathroom was the top disaster - drainage system was terrible. With the shower area facing the pot - the water from the show would not drain and made the entire bathroom a water pool - not cool or comfortable. When we called housekeeping - they were able to clean it up but the same issue happened post night shower and the next day as well. Old drainage system - need serious reworking. The restaurant located in the premise was also not super tasty - was ok. Pricy for the quality of food. All in all i would go back and stay if I cannot experience another hotel in Ubud but my preference would be to go closer to the center of town.

  on the way to pura Prembayan

  i was travelling in the area north from Ubud in about the end of my six month stay in Bali. I went to watch some student short films festival of european strugglers for art. After the projection they invited me to Gaya villas. I decided to go there for one night. I spent very nice time, excellent evening fresh air, good star excellence. Nice view to the private rice field. On the next morning i went on to pura Prembayan where i wanted to pray to the spirits. This was in June, 2004. girl, now 33.

  Excellent Experience

  Gaya Villas was set in a great location, far enough from town that you feel you are in nature, but not too far that it is a trek to go into town. The staff were also friendly and accommodating. I would recommend for a friend to stay here, as it was a wonderful and calm environment. I hope to be available to stay here in the future!
