  Hotel sencillo

  Hotel simple, muy cerca de la zona del aparcamiento y demás restaurantes de la zona, pero ubicado cerca de otros hoteles. Habitación pequeña pero limpia, no está muy aislado y se oyen las conversaciones de las habitaciones contiguas. Por otro lado, muy buena atención por parte de la recepcionista.

  Conveniently located average budget hotel

  Gao Shan Ching is inside the Alishan National Forest, which makes it suitable as a starting point for activities here. We didn't find the kinds of problems noted by other reviewers, although the plumbing was questionable. However, a staff person was very prompt in attending to a slow running toilet. The breakfast up the street in a different hotel was free, and as mentioned by others, pretty ordinary. Ok for us, since we were on the go pretty much the whole time we were there, including hikes and excursions for watching sunrise and sunset.

  Disappointing

  This hotel was disappointing to say the least. While the room was spacious, it was well below the standards I expected. There were exposed wires hanging out of the ceiling, dust on the ledges, and the bathroom was generally unacceptable with no place that you wanted to set anything down. The shower had no curtain so it was not possible to really shower. Lots of mildew in the bathroom. Housekeeping did not do our room one day. Front desk staff were rude.

  Cheap, Decent, no frills!

  With preservation of natural environmental of Alishan, Was expecting a lot more worse from this hotel, pleasantly surprised at the conditions: Reception - dont expect any smiles or any warmth hospitality : 2/5 Room - cold no heater, bed is decent. However, cigarette smoke does sips into the room : 2/5 Toilet - thankfully there is warm water to bathe. Plus points - basic amenities provided : 3/5 Breakfast - gave it a miss Overall : 3/5 (at this price it is considered average)

  Gao Shan Ching Hotel

  Great location, close to shops and parking lot. Staff helpful and friendly. Only issue was that the room was not thoroughly cleaned when we checked-in. Food selection during breakfast was OK, authentic Taiwanese cuisine.
