  Wonderful Stay, Great little self contained Cabins

  We went on a 2 week road trip down to Victoria and we used this has our home base. It was wonderful to have a place where we had enough room to relax and also cook a meal as sometimes it gets to much eating out all the time. It is only a few minute drive to the main street of Healesville, making it a nice and quiet area. Would definitely recommend anything who is wanting to stay in a cabin or in a camper van/ caravan as the facilities were well looked after. The only thing I would recommend to the owners is some more cutlery and crockery would be nice.

  Great place

  My family and I got a two-bedroom cabin for two nights and was pleasantly surprised on how good the cabin was: really clean and had a new feeling to it. It was also great to utilise the fireplace on cold mornings and evenings. Lastly, the host was also really welcoming (sorry, I could not recall his name). I won't hesitate recommending this place.

  Perfect little cabin

  We spent a weekend in a one-bedroom cabin at the Haven and were not disappointed. After initially needing to change our booking, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly customer service and ease of changing the dates of our stay. The cabin was clean and cosy. We specifically chose Haven at Healesville for its kitchenette and location where we were able to spend the days exploring the close by Yarra Ranges National Park and cook dinner in the evenings with the small but functional facilities. I would certainly recommend staying here if you have a car (as it is a bit far from the town centre) and I definitely plan on returning to stay with my family in a bigger cabin in the future.

  Very Dissapointing considering the other reviews

  We must have been given the crappy cabin as it was very poor. The Floor had cracked and missing vinyl in 2 rooms and if your not careful you could easy catch your feet in them, the holes where significant in size. The base of the shower had a small hole in the surface, I would think that could easily be fixed. There was no fry pan in the kitchen. There was no oven either, there was however a gas cooktop. Cleanliness was lacking, the top of the microwave and shelf above the sink had not been wiped for quite sometime, you could describe it as putrid, how this was never noticed is astounding. Not sure the last time they cleaned around the join of the shower screen and base.. The curtains particularly at the entry are old with holes in them. Broken middle shelf in fridge to fragile to use I suspect. Went to use the BBQ on site, which you have to pay for and can not control the temperature, The light in the BBQ area would not stay on, eventually after much jumping around we managed to trip the sensor and it finally worked.

  Cute Little Getaway Lodge

  We had a lovely stay in a one-bedroom cabin, plenty of room for the two of us. The place felt cute, clean, new, and neat. Keith was really lovely when we checked in asked about our time there and gave us some suggestions of things to do and places around town.
