  A beautiful house

  We stayed for one night but wished it was more. It's a beautiful house and the service was very friendly. We stayed in a big room upstairs and had access to a balcony. We shared a wonderfully large bathroom, but never ran into other guests. It's a quick walk to shops, restaurants and the waterfront.

  Highly recommend bed and breakfast

  Loved our two nights - great value for money Conveniently located to town , lots of restaurants within easy walking distance also easy walk to kadina park Yes you can hear road noise but expected as on main roads Breakfast included was continental and enough choices Lovely stay

  A very nice and lovely guesthouse! Love it

  A very unique and traditional Victoria style guesthouse. Very nice view, comfortable room, clean and big. It seems that we are back to an old days. A very unique experience. I am okay with share bath and toilet. Other guests are also very clean and tidy so we dont have problem to share with them. But really depend on other guests behaviour. We are very lucky! But if you are someone who really concern about hygiene issue, you need to rethink about this.

  Great location in a lovely old house with a friendly homestay feel

  Superb location right in the heart of Geelong and only a short walk to the waterfront (we thought it might be noisy, but didnt notice that). The lovely old house is very cleana nd comfy and the Manager is super friendly and the whole atmosphere is very easy going and laid back. There's a laundry and a kicthen area, plus a nice help yourself continental breakfast, no pressure to get up early and have it :)

  Terrible Customer Service

  Few months back I booked a room here directly with the hotel (Online booking). However, I had to cancel due to change of travel date. Thus, I sent then an email requesting to cancel the room. No response. After close to 2 weeks I got a friend in Melbourne to assist by calling them to cancel but I emphasized to her to ask them to also email me the cancellation confirmation. My friend called up and explained the issue to them that I had emailed them the cancellation request but to no avail. And to help cancel and send me the cancellation confirmation. She received a very rude response, firstly saying they never received any email from me. Followed by they are not criminals ("unlike 'a particular race" which I won't get into) and don't do things like charging my credit card despite verbally cancelling the booking with her. Then bang down the phone! I can't believe a person in the hospitality line would behave this way. At least I did receive the cancellation notice few hours later.
