  Most beautiful view and lovely rooms

  This hotel/guest house is located at the top of a hill from where the beautiful Chimsee lake is visible. The property is surrounded by lush green grass cover and the overall experience is truly beyond description! We faced 1 problem though, due to some electrical-maintenance the restaurant was closed (nothing really is close by). However we didn't face much of an issue as we had a car and decided to drive down to the lakeside for dinner. Only problem you might face is if you don't have a car, you will have some restrictions (bus stop is a bit far away, bus timings, etc.) The owner is extremely helpful and a thorough gentleman. But in general I strongly recommend this place. Its ideal to spend a few days there, away from the noisy world!

  Staff who showed little or no interest!

  Stayed for 1 night and we had a room in the new wing of the hotel which is just across the road from the main building. The room was lovely and very clean, super bathroom with walk in shower. All this was some what spoiled by the breakfast which was at best very basic, and the indifferent attitude of all the staff we came into contact with. OK for 1 night but not any longer!

  UN LUGAR CON MUCHO ENCANTO

  Escogimos este hotel en nuestra ruta por la Selva Negra, y nos quedamos encantados con lo que encontramos, es un precioso hotel situado en lo alto de la montaña, con muchísimo encanto, decoración agradable, todo de madera, la habitación muy grande y acogedora, nos dejaron un pequeño detalle en las almohadas, lo cual adelantaba el buen trato que íbamos a recibir. El baño inmenso, con todo los detalles. El desayuno aunque con poca variedad, todo de muy alta calidad. Lugar muy tranquilo, ideal para desconectar, lo recomiendo totalmente.

  Good Stop over hotel

  Stopped off here for one night on the way to the Black Forest, had a big room for a single person this time, well done Zur Post, it had a settee, coffee table, two chairs & a double bed, Plus this time it didn't matter that it was at the back of the hotel because it was quieter away from the main road. The room was clean & tidy. Staff were polite & friendly. Loved the beer garden at the side of the hotel and there was a good selection at breakfast.

  So cool. Amazing food. 5 stars. And the Hotel as well ok, nice rooms. Everything clean and well organized and very good Service. The only negativ point was the breakfast... Dinner 5 stars (Restaurant with outside area), Breakfast 1 star... think easy to improve ;)
