  First of all the food could not be faulted,it was the attitude of the staff that needs to be addressed.The waitress who seated us ,and we were the only couple in the room, had a communication problem and made us feel unwanted,not a smile on her face at any time.The meal was brought us and this could not be faulted.I needed to pay by card and was directed to the reception area where the young woman was what I can only describe as ignorant.She took the card from me,placed it in the machine,pushed it to me for the pin to be entered,gave me the receipt without a word passing her lips,not even a thank you.Some serious training needs to be given.

  very good meal for a large group of people ,not cheap but good quality great service considering the venue was very busy and they coped well ,just slightly out of town but worth the walk or catch the bus . . ,i highly recommend it

  Alpen guesthouse at its best

  We thoroughly enjoyed our short skiing break at the beginning of January at this family run hotel/guesthouse - a welcome contrast to all of the international hotel corporations. Fantastic breakfasts and tasty a la carte dinners. Clean, warm and spacious rooms. Authentic alpine feeling inside. Will definitely come back.

  Friendly place

  Me and my brother had a great time in this hotel. The food was brilliant, the service was great. The hotel staff and the owner is really friendly. They have a nice wellness area and outside pool with lovely view. The rooms are tidy and comfortable.

  Fantastic place to stay and eat

  We have just returned after staying for 5 nights at Hotel Gasthof Zur Muehle. We received a friendly welcome on arrival from Maria and everything was great from the start. We had clean spacious rooms, friendly help and information from Kristian who could not have done more to help us and also Marek who really did everything possible to make us laugh and make us feel looked after. A fantastic hotel serving great food, in a convenient location for the ski slopes and most importantly friendly caring staff. Cant wait to go back and can not recommend enough. Thank you
