Hotel tradicional con instalaciones modernasHotel alejado del centro (se necesita coche), con unas habitaciones modernas y bien acondicionadas. Baño muy amplio y limpio. Como han juntado varios edificios, es un poco lioso para moverse dentro. WiFi gratuito. Desayuno muy completo. Parking gratuito.

Good stayI stayed here on my way to Austria. It was a convenient location of the motorway and close to my final destination St. Anton. Room was good, the bar was busy and the food reasonable; both in price and quality. Really enjoyed the beer. What I did not like was the church accross the stree ringing it's bells during the night. Very extensive breakfast buffet.

Great breakfast not so great roomWe stayed for two nights in room 114. There is no bathroom floor sewer and no ventilation. The room and the bathroom are very spatious and clean but there is only one chair. No fridge in the room. The maid went through a bag of ours which is not normal and took a glass bottle from the table which we wanted to recycle. The breakfast is very diverse, rich and tasty. The receptionists spoke English very well. Altough the church is near the bells did not bother us.

Could be so much betterThis was one of six hotels I stayed at in a trip from Geneva to Munich, and was the one I liked the least. Such a disappointment, as things could have been so much better. First of all the positive. My room was excellent - large, clean and well equipped. No air conditioning, but I wasn't expecting any and we visited in the middle of a heatwave so that's not the hotel's fault. The bar had a nice feel to it. Looking at the photos other rooms do seem to vary a fair bit, so kind of hard to know exactly what you'll be getting. But I was happy what I had. Others have mentioned the noise at night - it's true that if you need to keep your windows open because of the heat then there can be a fair bit of noise. The food was OK. Some of the evening meals were excellent, some were pretty basic. Definite food envy was on show as some people were happy with what they received and others were disappointed. Breakfast better than average, but the layout was strange - the buffet kind of sits in a corridor. The real letdown was the service and the staff. Check-in was OK, the rest was really poor. I've never had a receptionist catch me out the corner of her eye and deliberately turn her back and walk away! At another time we had a problem with the route we were following and a different receptionist was SO unhelpful. "We have no computers available for guests" was all she could say. Yes, we knew that, but could she help? Yes she could have, but no she wouldn't. The waiter was the rudest I have come across in absolutely ages. The service was ridiculously slow and incompetent. In one case, on a hot evening, it took 10 minutes for a jug of tap water to (not) arrive. So I went to the bar, got the jug myself, asked one of the bar staff to pour it from the tap, and took the jug back to the table. And they charged me 2 euros for this! At the end of the evening they insisted we'd not paid for one of our main courses. That would be the main course that no-one remembered ordering, no-one remembered seeing, and no-one remembered eating. But no, they insisted on charging us for it anyway. The problem with these sort of things is that one member of staff sees others behaving rudely to guests and thinks that's how they should behave - it normalises the rude behaviour. Well, it shouldn't, and any member of staff reading this should realise that the standards a number of the colleagues set are well below the worst we received anywhere else on our trip, whether in hotels or restaurants.

Too expensive for quality offeredWe stayed for one night in this hotel, because it was located ideally and promised to have taken extra Covid sanitary measures. The room was very large and beautiful at first sight, but we realized only at night that the shutters didn't work and with bright street lights shining in, it made sleep difficult, not helped by at least 15 mosquitos in the room as well. The bed duvets had a very strong smell so that we had to take them away, which was ok given it was extremely hot in the room and there was no air-conditioning. The next day we discovered that the bathroom hadn't been cleaned thoroughly, finding a big bundle of hair under the bin, and dirt on the floor, which is even more disappointing after being told the rooms were cleaned in line with sanitary measures due to the coronavirus. The hotel could definitely do with a deeper clean, including the floor in its hallway, which showed people's foot prints. Extremely disappointed after having read lots of good reviews and choosing the place for this reason. The price we had to pay for the night was totally unacceptable under these conditions.
