  Comfortable Stay, Amazing Owner

  We had an amazing stay and a large part of that was the accommodation of the owner. She was very helpful with us with whatever we needed. I even left something behind and she mailed it back to my US address for no extra charge! The breakfast was delicious and gave me more than enough energy for 8 hours of skiing. They have these unique little egg holders to eat your hard boiled eggs out of. The rooms were comfortable for all 4 of us who stayed there. There is a small bed next to the master bed and a comfortable couch futon that turns into a bed for two. You could easily fit 5 in here since you have a bathroom and a separate kitchen area. The hotel is located close to the town and we had plenty of nice neighbors to talk to and get local tips from. Internet was very strong.

  Nice appartement

  We had booked an appartement and was very satisfied about it. It was clean and we had a balcony. The owner is very sweet and helpful. She does not only speak german but very good english. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Gigioch. The only thing that I didnt like was that the house is a bit up at the mountain, so you have to go down the hill. That can be a bit difficult with skiboots, so we put our skigear in ski depot. - Simon

  Rudest manager I have ever experienced.

  I have never been spoken to the way the manager of this establishment spoke to me during my stay. I have to say it is a shame to have experienced this as the hotel room it's self was nice, clean, spacious and well equipped, but I would not recommend to anyone to stay here in case you come into the contact with the manager who was just so unnessarily rude... if you don't like customers don't run a hotel it really is as simple as that!!

  Horrific, terrifying experience.

  Horrific, terrifying experience. This has to be the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. This is a warning to others, please read. Firstly, absolutely no information when we arrived about the area, where to get lift passes, ski hire, check out times, etc etc., just given our key, told the room number and directed up there. Throughout the hotel and in our room the stench of cigarettes was unbearable. None of the lights worked in the hallways, and the condition of the apartment was horrendous. Filthy kitchen and bathroom, the towels were stained and there were no duvet covers on the duvets. And the duvets definitely were not clean. I wish that was the worst of it, but more was to come: So after a long first day skiing, we arrive back at the hotel and are looking for the storage room to store our skis, as we were not told where it was at check in, and it was not signposted. The owner appears and is shouting aggressively for us to take off our boots. We are completely shocked and nervous by her aggression and begin apologising and trying to calm her down. Now bearing in mind there is no light in the corridors so we cannot actually see to take our boots off, and to take them off standing up in the dark is incredibly difficult, we ask for some light and to move to a seat so we can remove them. She then grabs my arm and begins pulling me through the corridor, screaming in my face. She then shoves me so hard into the storage room I nearly fall flat on my face, luckily my friend was there to stop me from falling. She then slams the door shut leaving my friend and I shaken and in tears. Unfortunately there were no other hotels available in the resort otherwise we would have left immediately. It completely ruined our stay as we then feared bumping into her for the whole trip. I have never experienced another human being like this in my life. And I share this as a warning to others.

  Christmas on ski

  We decided to be at ski area during Christmas holliday as ussual. We have never been in Sölden and we need to try that area. It was great - owner was helpful, any our question had its answer. Apartement was clean and nice, kitchen well equipped. No problem to return. Thank you.
