  10 days of beautiful time in April 2014 there

  I went there to go join friends to go play golf, who played in the golf of Margarethenhof, very nice golf course in Bavaria, they have also there a very good restaurant at the golf Best time to play there from avril to the middle of November.

  The best

  The place is beautiful, rooms are spacious and homely, all with a view yet with privacy. Breakfast is awesome. Tegernsee is 2mns away by foot, reachable alongside a quiet river running nearby. Herr and Frau Lüftenegger are the most gracious hosts ever in Bavaria. Amazingly patient with our children and family, always lending a great piece of advice on what to do and where to go or eat, always kind and smiling. One feels very much at home and away here. We leave this place and take great memories with us. Thank you.

  Stayed 3 nights during Bauma Exhibition

  We stayed here for 3 nights during the Bauma Exhibition, we took 2 rooms for 3 persons, We had a single room and a room with kitchen and living area (suite) with a extra bed. Breakfast was good and simple, with fresh bread, and bavarian style meat and cheese, dairy products, small buffet style. Plenty parking space and on walking distance from the village (approx. 10 minutes walk) The Hotel is located in a residential area in a quite part of town close to the lake. very good value for money.

  Winter escape

  I just enjoyed a weekend stay at Gastehaus Heimgarten. The people there were wonderful. I'm trying to learn to speak German and though they speak excellent English, they would speak with me auf Deutsch, up to the limits of my understanding. I appreciated that. My room was more than adequate for my needs. The breakfast was good. I recommend the tomato/mozzarella salad, excellent. Happy travels.
