  Great Location Great Hotel

  Just finished a week at the hotel. We had a very good time. We were a family of four within a group if over twenty. We received two very spacious rooms (one was an upgrade) in the main building. Location Location Location - The location is as good as it gets, interconnected underground to the bahn. The facility itself has an excellent spa with pools (indoor and out door) for the kids. Most of all, the staff was very friendly and attentive to every request. If I ever decide to go back to Gerlos - this is the hotel for me. David

  Great

  Great hotel, Great rooms, great facility, great SPA, Hotel location is excellent, in the center and close to the gondola for skiing. I was with a group of 20 + friends and kids. It was a wonderful ski vacation for us !!! Thanks to all the hotel staff and management ! Morris

  Skiweek with group of 10.

  Of course, this hotel is more luxurious than most hotels in ski resorts. But you pay for it. We stayed the second week of March 7 days on half board here. My overall opinion is good, compared to the price, but there are some serious things to consider about: 1. Smoking in the bar..., forbidden in most european hotels, but in this hotel some smokers do their very best to set the place full of smoke.. Maybe for you this is positive, for all of us it wasnt. 2. Dinner; really nice decorated plates but also mass production.. some days the choise is excellent, but sometimes it is just not good enough. Avoid the galadinner; it seems to be the day that the cook has his day off; bad food and no choise. But we had also excellent hunted Gems the day after. Drinks (wine) good but overpriced. 3. Noise on the street during the night. Gerlos is a apres-ski resort for mainly young dutch tourists, who make some noise..better ask a queit room at the back side. The positive things: 1. The Staff is really good and very helpfull: bravo!! 2. The Spa, Pool and Sauna; really good and relaxing. A very modern brand new Spa overlooking the slope home, but I loved the more older sauna in the hotel garden. The outside pool is a must to visit in the evening during wintertime. 3 . Breakfast ok, only on sunday with salmon and bubbles, but not really better than in less luxurious hotels. ok ok, fresh orange juich to be pressed. 4. The hotel is romantic and nice decorated, not modern stylish. 5. The jause at 15:30 hrs; treat with nice soup, pasta, sweet cakes and lovely warm apfelstrudl with vanillasauce ...hmmm. 6. Excellent entry to the skilift, free outside carpark, rooms ok, but with perfect bathroom. Why I gave only there stars...; because you expect all this, when you pay 165,00 a day, it is surely not given. The dinner really is not always nice. And..I wouldnt go again; because I feel perfectly happy in a less luxurious hotel, wo serve almost the same quality of breakfast and dinner for much less money (and more wine for less money!)

  Best location

  Hotel has an underground connection with the Dorfbahn ski lift, allowing you to walk to the lockers on socks and take 1 elevator up to the lift - doesnt get any better. Rooms are large, breakfast is more than decent and the spa is great (there are 2; check out the new one which overlooks the ski slope to the lift). Great option when youre there to ski!

  Love this place!

  We just returned from our second stay at the Gaspingerhof and it was even better than the first time. We visited in the summer 2011 when our two boys were just 6 and 4 years old and this summer we returned with two much older teenage boys as well as our 5 year old daughter. We are always careful about returning to a place since its rarely as good the second time. However Gaspingerhof doesnt disappoint! Even though it had just re-opened two days before our arrival (had been closed due to the COVID-19 close-down in Austria) the hotel was ready to receive us with the greatest hospitality. We had two large connecting rooms with beautiful view of the mountains, good beds. The food is great and the heated outdoor pool is wonderful. There is a LOT of activities in the region, hiking, biking, rafting, canyoning, zip-line, summer ski at the Hintertux glacier, rodelbahn etc.... But the best part is definitely the homy feeling when staying at Gaspingerhof. A huge thanks to the staff at Gaspingerhof for making us feel so welcome (especially Maik and Jobo (or Chaba?)) Well be back Family Kodahl, Denmark
