  Amazing hotel at even better location

  I stayed at this hotel during our study trip to Nassfeld in February 2017. The hotel is amazing with phenomenal spa area. The rooms range from Single Room to suites and I was accommodated in one Single room on third floor which was very spacious. The food offered in the hotel is good and tasty, soft drinks and water + coffee is available 24h a day. The hotel is directly on the ski piste (ski in/ ski out) with great ski depot. Wellness with pol, hottub and more than 6 saunas will help you relax after a day of skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer. The stuff is very friendly and will help you with any problem you have. I will definitely come back.

  Fabulous

  Super nice hotel. You feel absolutely welcome. All staff and owners are very friendly and always willing to help you with whatever. I have my birthday today and was warmly surprised by a nice birthday wishes card and little gift on my breakfast table. I am here with my nine years old son and I hardly see him, there is so much to do for children. Big play area, child activities etc. But also as an adult there is enough to to do for example visit the spa. My son doesn't even want to leave the hotel for trips in the beautiful surrounding. Food is great and diverse. Nice coffee also. I will recommend this hotel to anyone.

  Turnaround from 1star to 5star rating

  We have just returned form a 5-nights skiing holidays with 2 kids from this resort. Our room which was supposed to be a 2-rooms large apartment was extremely small and outdated, nothing to compare what was advertised on the website. We were quite disappointed and made a complaint so the director - later found out the owner- Mr Waldner accepted our complaint and arranged for us a huge family apartment where we could move on next morning. This apartment was surely a higher class compared to our original reservation but the hotel charged the original price. Moreover, the whole staff was very nice to us during our stay, although one of the kids got sick with his stomach during a dinner. The hotel is perfectly located at the ski slopes, great service, very nice meals, huge playing house for the kids, everything is simple perfect there. But what made us a real difference is how professionally Mr Waldner handled our complaint and how nice he was personally during our whole stay. Our waiter and room maiden were from Hungary and they were also extremely nice and helpful. Although our first impression was very bad the hotel made us to completely forget it and remember only the great vacation we had there and we decided to return next year. Thanks a lot Mr Waldner and congratulations to your hotel!

  Five Star all the way

  I cannot say enough about what a fantastic week we spent at the Hotel Gartnerkofel. Right from the start, the staff was there to help and assist in any way. Our booked taxi could not pick us up at the train station, so the hotel sent someone to get us. Our room was absolutely lovely with a separate bedroom, a sitting room/dining area and 2 small balconies. The view of the mountains was wonderful. The food was superb. Every meal we had something good, and if we were out hiking, we could pack a small lunch to take with us. There was entertainment in the evenings and a hike one day which included a lovely picnic lunch. Although I didnt try the sauna area, both pools and hot tubs were lovely and clean. The owners, Martin and his wife, were around all the time and spoke with everyone. If you had any problems, they were there to rectify them. As English speaking people there were several staff members who were able to communicate, especially in the dining room, and they made sure we were looked after. We had English menus on our table which made ordering much easier. All the little touches that were included really made our stay so memorable. Cant wait for our return visit. It was an absolutely fantastic holiday thanks to the Waldners, their staff, and their hospitality.

  Best holiday in Austria ever

  We spent a week in Gartnerkofel with our 3-yrs old daughter. It is a paradise for both children and parents. Kid playgrounds interior and exterior also are great, the food is the best we had ever in Austria, the owner and his wife are very kind, the staff also (it was extra, that most of the staff are Hungarians, so we felt like home). Programs, kid menu are also great, very good tracking routes nearby, lifts are in walking distance, wellness for both families and adults are excellent. Thank you for this extraordinary, relaxing holiday, hope we will return!
