    Encantador

    Pretty basic but not bad.

When we booked some months before, they didn't have a room left in this building so offered us one in Margarita Pension, 50 metres down the road. The room was very basic, very hard pine beds, flimsy curtains that didn't cover the windows. Shower was good. Continental breakfast delivered on a tray to your room at the time you request. No lift. On the morning of our departure we ate breakfast in the cute little basement area at the main hotel. Reception staff friendly. Nico ordered us a taxi to take us to the railway station and the hotel paid for it, which was appreciated as we had a night mare getting there. Word of warning, if arriving by train, get a taxi to this hotel, do not catch the bus if you have big luggage. The bus stops quite close to the town but all the streets are ancient cobblestones, no footpaths in parts and the hotel is over the bridge,up hills and quite a distance. If you are a young back packer, no problem, but for us oldies with large cases on wheels, it was a mission.Nearly wrecked our bag's wheels and us!

    not satisfied

this is not a proper hotel as it looks like in view of the name of the property that appears in their webpage or in tripadvisor, but a bed & breakfast. i do not understand its high rating in tripadvisor the location is good, just at the limit of the traffic restricted zone. the property offers carpark in front of the building for 16 euros. in the night, the place is unattended so i cannot say that it is a safe parking space the reception closes at 7 pm. the receptionist was not friendly, her attitude was like that from a civil servant finishing the working hours and showed no interest in helping the guest no lift and no help with the luggage the room was a "de luxe" one, clean and with acceptable size, with a pleasant balcony overlooking the river. nice view. the bed was sufficiently comfortable. there was a small wardorbe with a safety box, an empty fridge and a kettle with two tea sackets (no instant coffee) the bathroom had sufficient size, basic amenities and a big bath. unfortunately, there was no hang for the shower had, meaning that the guests need to hang the shower head when having a shower. additionally, therewas no curtain in the shower, so the risk of flooding the bathroom is high the windows had net cutains, so the room had too much light as from sunrise free wifi did not work no air contioned: rooms can be very hot in summer a very basic continental breakfast was offered at another hotel in the viccinity whereas the room could be paid with credit card, extras like parking are requested to be paid in cash. just nonsense in an accommodation where most of guests are foreigners due to bad shower, bat attitude from the receptionist, lack of reception service after 7 pm (not even a telephone number for emergencies was advised) i think that the price paid (120 euros) is bad value for money i do not recommend this accommodation

    Really nice stay

This is a lovely hotel situated so close to the city centre. The staff were super helpful and my room was very comfortable. I had a slight issue when there was some kind of power cut and there was nobody available to advise what was happening. However that wasn't necessarily the fault of the hotel

Rude Receptionist of the Year Award

Room 12, you have to pay! The shout came from across the lobby, as we were leaving for breakfast. Slightly embarrassed, we approached the receptionist, a middle-aged woman with dark hair. What we had to pay was the parking, a charge that for some mysterious reason had to be settled at the beginning of our stay and could only be paid in cash. We dont have any krona yet, I explained. Ill pay you later today. We walked towards the exit. Yes, today! - the threatening tone continued, accompanied by baleful looks. We decided to give her our Rude Receptionist of the Year Award. Its only August, but with a performance like that, shes unlikely to be outdone. The hotel itself is pleasant and well positioned with large, comfortable rooms and good breakfasts. Shame about the staff.
