  Hotel tradicional muy céntrico

  Escogimos una habitación familiar para mis dos hijos, mi esposa y yo. La habitación es muy amplia, tiene balcón y hasta una mesa para trabajar o jugar cartas. El parking es muy cómodo, uno puede aparcar justo en la entrada trasera del hotel y el hotel es bastante céntrico como para no tener que usar el coche. lo recomendamos ampliamente.

  Excelente!

  Ubicado a una cuadra de la peatonal. El hotel es muy lindo, la recepcion, el restaurante la sala de estar. La habitacion era normal pero con todas las comodidades. La atencion del personal es excelente como en toda Alemania. Muy buen precio. El desayuno y la limpieza excelentes! Y las vistas imponentes! Hermosa ciudad!

  Very good location

  The hotel is gradually being refurbished, and we stayed in an unrefurbished double room with a balcony and a view to the alps. The room had good facilities: power sockets on both sides of the bed, a coat stand, good wardrobe, two chairs, table, tallboy etc. The balcony had two chairs and two recliners. The bathroom was slightly small, and had a shower rather than a bath. There was little storage space for personal belongings, and there was no hook for hanging up clothes. There was plenty of space for the towels on the towel rail/radiator. Despite waiting for refurbishment, the room was in good repair. It was cleaned immaculately. The best feature of the hotel was its location, in the centre of Garmisch not far from the tourist information, shops, railway station etc. We had dinner in the restaurant three times, including on a Thursday, when they have a special buffet dinner (reservation definitely recommended for the Thursday dinner). The food was of very good quality, and the service was good. The Thursday dinner with a buffet for the starters, choice of main course from the kitchen, and dessert buffet was excellent. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and was of good quality. Overall, our stay was a good experience and this hotel would be on my shortlist if I was planning to holiday in Garmisch-Partenkirchen again.

  An absolute gem of a little hotel

  We loved this place so much we extended our holidays by 3 nights. The newly renovated restaurant looks great with its modern yet rustic interior, microbrewery and good food. The rooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. We had a room with a bath tub, which was great for soaking sore muscles after a day of skiing. Staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The beer from their microbrewery is fantastic, especially the IPA and Weißbier. Good location, close to the city centre, shops and restaurants.

  Far too pricy for its value

  We were just disappointed: paid 170 Euro for one night in this bio spa hotel. We didnt have access to spa (I understand the corona times, but telling your guests that all the sauna booking slots are taken after checking in is not nice). The breakfast was totally average, one waiter completely ignored us, the next one was very helpful - but the bio food they mention is not so tasteful. One doesnt know what one could order (no buffet due to corona, no menu available) - I asked for eggs with vegetables and got 1 egg and a couple of very thin slices of tiny vegetables. And I dont eat much...my partner got a tasteless omlette. The room was old-school, but clean, with a big terrace and mountain view (definitely a plus in summer at least). All in all disappointing, I wouldnt recommend at all for this price, its bad deal. There are plenty of other places who maintain the great value despite the corona restrictions!
