  Stayed here with shearings great trip but let down by hotel. Bathroom dirty and needs upgrade ours wasn't cleaned in the time we were there no clean towels either and a shower head that was so old and covered in lime scale. Food was poor mostly pasta or pork . Some off the staffs uniforms were un ironed a d the house keeper was down right scruffy,. Shearing need to change there hotel

  Dining room was utter chaos and to be honest the Bar was not much better.Staff were surly and quite rude at times. Real shame because apart from the Hotel the trip with Shearings was excellent.Our drivers Tim and Caroline were brilliant and kept us entertained from start to finish.

  My opinion

  Stayed here on a shearings holiday. Hotel seems to be in a residential area 5-10 minutes walk from the beach. Room 6 adequate although bathroom not cleaned for the whole week. Bed made daily except on the last day. Towels only changed when placed on the floor which is acceptable. Shower head does not fit in holder so had to hold it for the duration of the shower. This room constantly hums apparently the noise is from the kitchen didnt get much sleep. Utter chaos in the dining room for meals you would think if you got served your starter first youd get your main first but no it came last absolutely no organisation.oh and you have to keep your cutlery for all courses and place it on the dirty tablecloth which is changed every 2 days even if stained no exceptions. Meals a bit repetitive and a lot of pasta and pork very bland ate out on some nights couldnt face it but thats personal choice. Public areas surprisingly clean. Pool nit very clean. The only pleasant member of staff left on day 2. Great shearings holiday spoilt by the hotel.

  Hotel Garden Alassio

  Do not go to this hotel. My wife and I went with Shearings 5th to 13th Oct 2019. The food was terrible with low levels of hygiene. The so called chef could not even cook pasta and most of the food was inedible. The salad bar was dried out and left out with no covers or refrigeration. Two young lads were run ragged trying to serve everyone. The sweets were awful and choice poor. No ice cream as an alternative. The drinks were of poor quality. Breakfast was taken in basement which was like being in a dungeon. Coffee machine produced awful coffee and cups left on filthy cloth. Choice was poor and scrambled egg cold and boiler eggs like rubber. There was no input from hotel management who did not care about poor standards. Shame because trip was good and our drivers Tim and Caroline were great. Shearings need to change hotel as all reports state poor food and hygiene problems.

  pleasant hotel

  Went to this hotel with Shearings Holidays and found it very pleasant. Although this was at the end of the season it was still ok. the food was a bit bland but plentyful both for breakfast and dinner. this hotel is about 10mins from the town and easy to get to the beach.easy gooding down but a bit of a hill coming back.
