  Made our wedding

  We were married in the Hotel Garden Riviera recently. The service and care we received was first class. All the staff from reception to the bar to the restaurant were so friendly and accommodating they made every guest feel really special. Unfortunately we had rain on the big day itself, which meant we couldn't dine outside as planned. At short notice the hotel set up a fantastic in-door setting, which greatly impressed our guests. The hotel shuttle did numerous trips up and down to the church to make sure our guests arrived dry. All week the shuttle was available at short notice to anyone needing a left to the village. The food for the wedding was delicious, out guest were nearly too stuffed to party. We stayed in the suite and the views over the bay were amazing. The room was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was really good. The kids loved the outdoor areas. There was plenty of space for them to run around care free. The pool setting was great and despite the cold temperatures plenty of people had a great time in the water, when the sun came out. On check out guests were very happy with the bills they received. Everything was so reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend for a wedding.

  We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, great staff, superb views and a great pool. The only negative was access to the town and seafront, unbelievably the courtesy coach stopped at 7pm leaving a challenging walk up a steep slope back to the hotel.

  Third stay at this hotel

  I recently got married in Castellabate and stayed at the Garden Riviera. This is the third time I have been in this beautiful part of the world and the third time I have chosen to stay at Garden Riviera. It has recently been modernised and aesthetically it is much nicer than our previous stays. But it isnt the physical building that makes this a great hotel. It is the people who work there day in and day out. Chiara, Ewelina and Gerardo who are the receptionists and night porter were always a friendly face, who were always happy and willing to help with any requests. Raffaella has taken care of us on all 3 of our visits and again is always smiling and happy. Her hospitality is excellent and she was always willing to support us with what we needed. Even the cleaning staff and waiters are very attentive and personable with each of the guests. Always saying hello and going out of their way to ensure the guests have a relaxing and comfortable stay. We will be heading back again in the future.

  Nice hotel

  This hotel is nice. It sits up a steep slope from the main road, and is not a great walk to the town, however dont let this put you off. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff all very pleasant and polite. If anything it lacked a little. Lack of storage space in the bedrooms; breakfast was ok - always ran out of bacon and eggs - although on asking more was made - but never enough. Some fresh fruit - but not wonderful. The hotel locks some finishing touches that could make it great. Otherwise ok for the price

  This hotel is nice , clean staff is friendly. It's in a great location 10 mins walk from beach and town. Only down side is the hotel is on a steep slope and if you walk down to the town it's also on a steep slope. All due to the area being in the mountains. The view is exceptional.
