  Small hotel with great hospitality

  The Arnimsruh Hotel Garni in Lübeck is a small B&B with about 10 rooms. It is located outside of the historical center, so probably best to have a car. There is free parking in front of the hotel and a big grocery store across the street. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Our room faced a courtyard and was very quiet. The twin beds were very comfortable, each with one down pillow and comforter. The room had a desk, table with 2 chairs, a cloth lounge chair and a flat screen TV with many stations including the BBC. The bathroom was small, but the water pressure in the shower was great. Breakfast was included and served by the owners. Compared to the prices of hotels in the old city, this was very comfortable and a great bargain.

  You feel like you are welcome

  We stayed at Arnimsruh Hotel for two nights during the first weekend of the Christmas market. The owners, a couple in the thirties were fantastic and very helpful. They made sure, you felt welcome. They were very helpful with maps, and when we had a broken tire. The breakfast was very good, and you can buy snacks, beers and sodas for reasonable prices. The rooms are decent and everything works, although perhaps a more modern television would have been nice. All in all we will definitly recommend this place.

  Conviniently located family hotel a little outside of city centre with great hospitality.

  Nice looking with pretty front garden. Owner meeting us in paeking lot wit warm welcome and starting to give useful info of the area. Nice vintage looking entrance and breakfast room. Rooms peetty, clean and tidy of rather good size. Our double room had a frenxh balcony facing a nice back yard with small fountain. Only downside was no evwning snack/meal and quite dew restaurants in close proximity. We ended up at a local chinese restaurant , ok for one meal.

  Great value for money

  A little bit outside of Lübeck downtown but well worth the extra mile. Cozy, small family hotel. Quiet rooms, nice breakfast and very friendly staff. Yes, you could say that the place is a bit old fashioned and the rooms are kind of old, but everything is super clean and tidy and it gives you a very homey feel. Would definitely come again.

  Enjoyed our stay

  Stayed two nights to experience festive season in Lubeck. Nice hotel rooms small but OK. A selection of refreshments available with honesty box. Very clean and modern shower room. Good buffet breakfast included. Warm and friendly hosts. Large supermarket opposite hotel convenient and buffet restaurant nearby. Several kilometres outside Lubeck but bus stops outside hotel with regular service and pleasant journey into town. Hotel owners provided maps and plenty of information. Suggest stay of two/three nights about right to see area.
