  Estuvimos dos días de paso mi marido y yo, nos acabamos de casar (viaje luna de miel). Leímos muchos comentarios buenos y nos fiamos. Lo peor de las habitaciones son las "puertas" del baño, no permiten tener privacidad-cero intimidad. Tampoco nos limpiaron la habitación, a pesar de haber encendido él botón de aviso de limpieza y hubo una cucaracha enorme en el baño. En resumen no tuvimos buena experiencia.

  Fresh Seafood

  Headed to Gambaros for New Years Eve lunch. Highly recommend the seafood for two which included lobster, spanner crab, Moreton bay bugs, prawns, mussels and oysters kilpatrick with a pumpkin and yoghurt and a Greek salad as sides. Parking is limited, excellent service provided and reasonably priced in the heart of the cbd.

  Great Service

  Love the Seafood Restaurant. The BEST part of a small boutique hotel is that they remember you and make an extra effort. When it has been crazy on the street and noisy in the bars, we've been accommodated in the lovely hotel foyer with drinks and coffee. A great space for a bunch of seniors!

  Just perfect - finally!

  We originally booked this hotel to attend a function nearby in January 2021. Unfortunately COVID had other ideas and Brisbane went into lockdown! Obviously our function was cancelled and we no longer required the room. Gambaro Hotel could not have been more helpful. Even though we had booked a non refundable rate our visit was postponed for a few weeks and when we finally got to stay it was just for a fun weekend away. We really loved our room - just the basic Petrie room because originally we were going to be busy the whole time and just sleeping. It was perhaps a bit on the small side - but that's what you expect from the cheapest room type. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had beautiful soft towels. We ended up with room service from Gambaro's restaurant in the evening. When our dates were changed we didn't realise we were staying on the Saturday of Valentine's Day and left it too late to book our choice of nearby restaurants - oops. But fish and chips from Gambaros was excellent! Next morning we received a complementary light breakfast - delicious bircher muesli and fruit. We interacted with three staff members and all were wonderful. The parking valet who parked our car escorted us up to reception - what a nice touch. The staff on reception were also a pleasure to deal with. We seriously felt like the only guests in the hotel they were so attentive with their service. That's what staying in a lovely boutique hotel gives you instead of a large impersonal chain. Can't wait to come back.

  This is a five-star boutique hotel with a difference; from the decor to the dining. From the moment you walk in, through to your departure, you'll be lavished with exceptional service and will get to enjoy the best of everything. There's nothing typical here, the services seem to be individualized to perfectly suit all guests. This gorgeous venue is a contemporary and stunning addition to a famous, family-owned, award-winning seafood restaurant. There is a cool elegance to every aspect which left us wanting to spend the entire weekend within the one precinct, so we did! With no need to venture out, we instead welcomed our guests to the hotel and had a great time. The hotel is filled with luxurious touches all throughout, with quality bedding, features and amenities at every turn. You can't beat the location for convenience. It has an inner city feel with a difference (meaning you're not surrounded by corporate buildings, but instead there are views of quaint Queenslander homes in Paddington and/or the city). Every staff member, including management and members of the Gambaro family, displays a sort of professionalism which is tinged with glamour. This is personalised service at its best! It is authentic and has a feel about it from days gone by - back when guests were welcomed by the owners and made to feel like VIPs. It truly has to be experienced to be appreciated. High praise for every aspect of this stunning venue, including the restaurant and staff. Well done, Gambaro Hotel!
