  Nice place

  Gaia Residence is a nice place to spend a ski holiday, sauna and swimming pool are a great opportunity to rest in the evening. Mezzana does not offer norhing special but if you want to ski and rest, Gaia Residence is a perfect place. Ski bus in front of the hotel in the morning is a perfect thing in the afternoon the ski bus stop on the main street but it wasnt a problem for us because it was 5 minuts walk even in skiboots.

  Rude staff, poor accommodation, nice SPA

  A hotel with a rude staff couldn't be a good one. We were more than 100 people, so we got a good price, but paying the normal price is not worth it. Some of the rooms were ok, but the others were very small, without space to deposit your stuff. The breakfast was nothing special, the same cold fried egg every morning. The positive part of the hotel was the SPA, which was really nice, how a wellness hotel should be.

  Excellent hotel

  The location is excellent and the view is fantastic. The owner of the hotel and his family did everything in order for us to enjoy the hotel. Their attitude was warm and pleasant, we really enjoyed ourselves. The room was very clean, tidy and pleasant, no doubt that if we came back to this part of Italy, we would return to this hotel exactly.

  Ski holiday...

  A week long ski holiday at Gaia. Location of the hotel is great with a nice view, close to the river, train station even the Marilleva gondola is 10 minute walk. Ski bus leaves in front of the hotel during mornings and through the rest of the day from the main road, very convenient. Hotel is nicely furbished. More effort should be focused on the level of how clean appartments are taking into consideration every apartment pays 40 to 60 euros cleaning fee. One should expect for it to be spotlessly clean. When we arrived our duvet covers were full of black fluffs, floors only swiped and not hooverd or washed, black hairs through appartment and a lot of dust. Towels that we were given were old and scruffy. Freezer inside the refrigirator didnt have doors so all the food that we put in was frozen the next day. Breakfast poor and staff not really pleasant. In case you request milk refill you will be given a very cold look giving you a sign you are not wanted here or you should not be asking for anything...
