A home from home holidayMy first holiday in 12 years and made that little bit extra special by the beautiful family Gabric. They made us feel so welcome. The appartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The offerings of home made wines, home grown fruit, pancakes, waffles and a grill BBQ evening was a delightful unexpected treat. The family's hospitality was second to none and it's was lovely to get to know the family and learn some history of the island of Ciovo. The hill is big but manageable and the view is fantastic so it's worth every step. The balcony became my favourite place as it caught the sun along with the view such a relaxed atmosphere. The appartment is not far from the beach about 15/20 mins depends on your speed and which part of the beach you want to visit. I would definitely stay here again as I feel I gained a new family :). Thank you to the family Gabric . The photo I have added is what you see when you open the appartment door and walk down the steps..... beautiful

Week in CroatiaThe owners of the apartment were very pleasant and hospitable. The apartment was spotless and had pretty good wi-fi. Beware of the home brewed liqueur you are offered on arrival - it blew my head off! The garden has fruit tress and we were offered fresh figs and home made lemonade on arrival. I was given a gift of home made fig jam which is delicious. It's a very tranquil spot half way up a steep hill, but the view from the balcony is worth the climb. There is a lovely little beach at the end of the road which we made our local - water was warm and crystal clear - perfect for families with small children or lazy teenagers. Shade can be found under the pine trees and there is even an ice cream stand selling delicious and refreshing ice creams. The beaches are stone chippings which could be lumpy at times, but at least you don't get sand everywhere. Rock shoes are required and make things very easy. A walk of less than 1 km around the coastal road brings you to Okrug which has lots of bars and restaurants if you feel like a bit more of a buzz. Stayed for a week with 2 teenage girls and we all had a ball. Food Italian, mainly pizza and pasta, but look around the different restaurants. Loved the place, a great spot for a chilled holiday.

The warmest welcome in Trogir!Granted there is a bit of a hill but it is only a 10 minute walk to the beach at the end of the road and 15 minutes to the campsite beach which I would thoroughly recommend. The hosts are wonderful and their daughter can be contacted by email with any questions in advance, the taxi ride from the airport is under half an hour. The view from the apartment balcony is amazing and the apartment is beautifully clean, nice little touches we really appreciated were gifts of food (all homemade or homegrown) and practical items, such as washing up scourers/liquid, tea towels, plenary of bath/hand towels, air con, drying line on the balcony so lots of space to hang beach towels and even plug ins to deter mosquitos! Not that there were many. We booked via Easy Jet Holidays and it was literally half the price of a usual package holiday including transfers, flights and accommodation. I can not recommend this enough and would not hesitate to go back

Great views and hospitalityAs a family of 4, we loved our stay in Apartments Gabric. The family were fantastic hosts and ensured that we had everything we needed and more. They gave us lots of home produced treats including fruit, home brewed wine and locally produced ham. The apartment was clean, cosy and offered a balcony with amazing sea views, which was great to relax on. A short walk down the hill takes you to the beach and the resort of Okrug, with its many beach bars, shops and restaurants. Lots to do including beach activities, water sports and boat trips. Exploring the island of Ciovo is a must. The highlight of the holiday was visiting the ancient town of Trogir. Going up the bell tower and a walk around the castle walls gives spectacular views on both sides of the town. We caught a local bus to Split and enjoyed exploring and shopping. This was a great base for sight-seeing and relaxing beach days. We would definitely go there again!

Fabulous Family FunStayed here in August for a 2 week family holiday. The appartment was spacious, clean and very well equipped. 2 bedrooms - one double bed one with 2 single beds. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and were given drinks and chocolates. The owners were amazing, they would provide lots of local produce, fresh figs, grapes, pears, fish, wine, pancakes, pastries and home made breads. We even were treated to a fish BBQ which was fantastic. The view from the balcony was fantastic and the location is great for exploring the whole coast. There is a hill to walk which is quite steep but very doable and my 2 children aged 10 and 13 managed it fine. Was an absolutely great 2 weeks, would definately go back and would reccommend for a quiet family break.
