  Hotel met basic needs. Take a taxi to the location

  Accomodation met basic needs. On the first day, we took the complimentary public bus from Tainan HSR to Xiao Ximen and walked aboug 10 minutes to the hotel. Hotel is near Shennong street, but is quite far to the flower night market and anping old street. Tried walking and realised that its better to take a taxi because the taxi to the night market and anping old street costs less than NT$ 150 (by taximeter) for each ride. On our last day, we took the taxi to Tainan HSR which coat NT$400 (by taximeter) for 30 minutes drive

  Comfortable beds

  Good location, walking distance to popular food street and Shennong street. Taxi fare to Tainan train station and Flower Night Market about NT100. Breakfast was just acceptable. Room was clean and the mattresses very comfortable (most comfortable among our stay) Would like to suggest to the management to install more hook in the room. Overall is a hotel that worth staying .

  Local Fav!

  Indeed a popular hotel among the local Taiwanese, who travel from different parts of Taiwan for staycation at Tainan. Ideal location for tourist delights and food. Only downside is the two lifts, slow & small which serve the whole hotel.

  Modern rooms, inexpensive, good walking nearby, service needs to be improved

  This is a hotel that starts on the 8th floor of a building in kaohsiong. I booked the day before and the room was inexpensive. Its located near a street market and is a 25 min walk from the train station. The room and bathroom were clean and modern. Lots of accent lights and the WiFi was fine. There was hallways noise coming from the gap under our door. My complaints are 1) that our bags were left out in the lobby for 10 hours instead of behind the counter or in storage (we arrived before check in) 2) when we checked in at 9pm, our room with a full bed was still not ready and had to wait another 30 min for it to be prepared, 3) the hotel clerk saying sorry, we are really sorry doesnt help remedy not having a room ready when you come back 10 hours after initially trying to checking in and letting them know that our bags were left out in the open. I expected a room upgrade, a discount, breakfast or something else to compensate for the inconveniences.

  Not a 4 start hotel

  Hotels.com Definitely not a 4 star hotel. The facility is outdated and needs significant renovations. The bathroom countertop has many yellow spots and water doesn't drain well. There is dust all over the room which is pretty scary during the pandemic time. The corridor has pretty heavy cigarette smells. One night we experienced fire alarm and the front desk has no idea how to handle the situation. In addition, there is only one roll of toilet paper and no shaver. I had to call front desk three times before it's sent to the room which caused a delay in our tour. Lastly, please note that front desk doesn't provide room upgrade for Hotels.com gold member even when room is available.
