  Iría de nuevo.

  Por el precio que se paga es inmejorable. La habitación estuvo muy bien (eso sí, pequeña, pero yo tomé un cuarto para una persona) y el baño también. La zona no es la más turística, pero eso no fué un inconveniente. A unos 150 metros al norte de la estación de metro mas cercana (Yanchang Rd) hay un shopping mall con todo lo que hace falta, ideal para cenar allí cuando uno termina el día y antes de volver al hotel. Hay un McDonald´s a unos 400 mts que me ha salvado alguna noche. En el tramo que va del hotel a la estación de metro hay varios restaurantes / fast food locales. Detrás del hotel hay un supermercado muy grande. Con el personal no tuve mucha interacción, diría que es correcto. Iría de nuevo.

  Cheap and easy

  Pros: Not many low budget hotels accept foreigners (we booked via qunar) The bed was comfortable, that's not a common thing Shower was wonderful Price - nothing to complain Location - nothing worth while is next door, but the subway is a 10 minutes walk and line 1 is great to get to most places Cons: Tiny rooms The front desk - well better not to say much about them, we did get an umbrella in a rainy day (room key as deposit) Internet - too many ups and downs, very hard to do anything with it... I was happy from our stay (my wife and I) and would defiantly consider going back

  Good price for Shanghai

  The hotel is very far from airport or tourist attractions but the price is good and only 5 min walk from the closest subway station. The hotel is more on a residential/ industrial area. The room was clean and the checkin was fast. There is a small cafe in the hotel.

  Really nice hotel!

  I stayed in the FX Hotel in Shanghai Liuying Road with some friends in Summer 2017. It was really nice, rooms were clean and my bed was very comfortable. As it was 40C outside daily, I was very grateful for the very efficient air conditioning, but it did annoy me that the maids would open the curtains because the sun would make it worse than it needed to be in my room. I loved my shower, it had a huge window overlooking Shanghai from the 11th floor which really was rather stunning. Staff were friendly and included English speaking staff. It was also very good value, about £250 each for 7 nights if my memory serves! Free wifi included, which was very speedy! Location very good too, 5 minute walk to the nearest tube which, in 10 minutes, would take you to the heart of Shanghai. Highly recommended.

  Decent hotel with little extra

  All in all, a decent hotel, the rooms are very nice, and way larger than expected for the price, and reasonably clean, but there are several drawbacks. First off it's hard to tell since this was my only experience ever in China, but the internet seemed terribly slow. Of course some sites were blocked by the great firewall, but even sites that were unblocked seemed exceedingly slow, though this might just be par for the course. The English skills of the front desk weren't great, one of them was fluent, but others ranged from being useless in English, to being able to handle basic stuff at the front desk, but i'm glad i didn't have to explain a more complex problem to them. TV Channels weren't great either for an English speaker, only channel in English was CNN Money. All in all, if you're just looking for a place to sleep, this is a great option, the basic amenities are very good and comfortable for the price, but several of the smaller issues were enough to give me a somewhat underwhelming experience, if i could give fractions, i'd give it 3.5.
