  This property is on a serious decline since the departure of the resident manager Frederic. Firstly the positives - The reception staff are, in a word, outstanding. Within the limits of what they are allowed to do, one could not ask for a better group. In large part this is because of the leadership of the front manager, Ibrahim. - The housekeeping staff do a superb job keeping the guest rooms in first class cleanliness and order. - The laundry is great. Clothes come back laundered in an entirely professional manner - The rooms are entirely functional, although the placement of the air conditioner is such that it blows cold air directly over the bed Secondly the negatives - The location of the hotel is a real issue. The entrance rods are nothing short of ruts. Complicating, is the fact that the hotel is under the airport departure flight path. The noise if the departing aircraft any time day or night. - The wireless is at best, sporadic. One is obliged to go to the front desk often and receive a new code, Even when it is working the intern is sporadic in speed and subject to frequent drops - The dining room/food service continues to deteriorate. On examination the chairs are showing signs of age/wear and are in serious need of replacement. Paint is noticeably peeling off of some of the walls. At breakfast the choices become less and less. When the dining opens for breakfast it is not uncommon to find day old breads. The prices are completely out of line. This is probably because of the fact that there are no other food sources within convenient walking difference. The restaurant will serve a half portion of a meal, but one still has to pay full price. Do not bother asking for a diet soft drink; none are available and there is to obtain the same (Frederic always was able to get diet soft drinks)..The attitude of some of the dining room staff needs some serious positive adjustment. Most times, particularly in the evening the television in the eating area is tuned to a station that is music videos of marginal quality with the sound far too loud for normal people. The impression is that the television is for the entertainment of the staff, -The noise proofing in the guest rooms is inadequate, Wen a desk chair is moved on a floor above the noise is obvious in the room below. Simple felt pieces on the bottom of the chair legs would in large part remedy the same. Even though the hotel rarely operates at rarely more than 50% occupancy it is impossible to get something as simple as a seci0nd desk lamp. The excuse given to such a request is that the 'owner' has said what equipment must be in all of the rooms at all times and it is impossible to take an item from an unused room.

  worst place surrounded with constructions

  This Hotel is a rundown place with very poor management and service. The place needs maintenance and repairing all over. Surrounded in a construction area with moody and gravel road access. Full with mosquitoes all over the place. One of the most noisiest place I have experienced in the last decade of travelling. Advertised as a 3* but real experience is down to a maximum of 2* standard. Food and Breakfast very poor but expensive. Permanent Internet and power failure. Aircon problems. Some staff try very hard but some of the others are quite unprofessional, inattentive, rude and busy playing games and video on there private phones The food is far overpriced and not up to any standard, no choices or international dishes. But there are some good and normal priced restaurants in the area. My company placed me here for a couple of weeks otherwise I would have chosen a far better deal in one of the nearby Hotels.

  Brief visit, good and bad points

  Seems most of my comments appear in the other reviews, rooms clean, bed comfortable, water pressure insufficient, lukewarm shower. Air con unit is right over bed so chilly but extra duvets available in wardrobe. Not enough power outlets to charge devices and have table lamp on at the same time. Wi fi worked ok but you do need to go and get a new password annoyingly often. Staff pleasant but breakfast was pretty basic and I was not tempted to eat in the evening. Access road has potholes you could park in. Location is close to the airport.

  2 night stay

  Sayed 2 nights at this hotel. 5 mins from the airport. Room 403 facing the entrance. Check in. Staff were very helpfull as were the rest of the staff. English was spoken well by most of the staff and had no issues asking questions. Food. Dinner was as i ordered and perfectly acceptable and i have no complaints. Breakfast was also acceptable. Room. Was ok and clean with tea and coffee available. Shower pressure was a little low but still able to use. Free Wifi available and was ok if a touch slow. Large double bed was comfotable and i slept well. TV was mostly French and local channels but had 2 English speaking news channels Location. 5 mins from the airport. Some noise during the day from aircraft landing but nothing that bothered me. Construction directly opposite but again no issues and i wasnt disturbed. I was happy with my stay and would stay again without issue. Ideal for anyone needing to close to the airport if not wanting to go into town. Thanks for a nice stay

  The hotel is situated on the main flight path to the airport and outside of the main town. The room was clean and internet was adequate. The meals were ok except the veal sirloin steak which was neither. Location could be better but clean and hot water positives.
