  Nice clean room with friendly saff

  Bell Hills is a short drive from the town centre. This hotel is on top of high ground. Nice view of Furano. Rooms are big compared to Japanese standard. The dinner and breakfast which came with my room is good. The public bath (onsen) is above average.

  Clean & Convenient

  Located near gondola. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom is small, typical of most Japanese hotels. Good breakfast with western and Japanese options. Staff are polite and helpful. Given the limited choice of reasonably priced hotels, this seems a good option.

  Bump up to four stars, hotel makes the most of what it has.

  Normally with the lack of spring water (at least to me it felt like regular water, perhaps others can correct), a slightly derelict onsen, outdated furnishings, dinner that relies too much on fried foods, I would give this a three star. But perhaps its just high season that causes me feel able to complain about these things due to the price. What bumped it up to four stars for me is the following: The front desk was very kind in explaining the terms of our purchase, and then also in helping us with our needs during mealtimes. And while outdated, the rooms were very clean. View from the room was awesome as this is build upon hills in furano.

  Basic no frills clean comfortable accommodation with good size rooms

  We were made to feel very welcome and staff went out of their way to assist. Even though language was a small barrier we got good advice and they organised a taxi with driver who spoke some English who took us on a fabulous 5 hour sightseeing trip.. Meals were basic but good. Hotel is probably more ideally situated for skiing customers , but with short taxi ride this didn't really hinder us. Enjoyed the Onsen

  Basic, convenient hotel close to the slopes

  Pros: - one block away from Kitanomine Terminal/Gondola - buffet breakfast (included) has a decent spread - onsen is open from 3-11pm and not crowded; has both indoor and outdoor area - there is a coin arcade on 1/F to keep kids entertained - heated ski locker is very convenient and up the hill closer to Kitanomine Terminal (1-2 minute walk) - microwave in lobby was convenient for heating up some quick meals from 7-Eleven - free wifi throughout property Cons - rooms are small; the triple room is the same size as the double room but with an extra single bed in it - staff speak very little English (we communicated using Google Translate which was fine) - could use more basis toiletries, especially in the onsen. Bring your own moisturizer. - skip the dinner buffet, quality and variety of food doesn't justify Y3080 adult; Y2156 child price tag. Overall, this is a pretty no-frills hotel, which was perfectly fine for us. If you just need a place to stay, close to the slopes and other restaurants, this checks all the boxes. I have nothing bad to say about the service, staff are willing to help, you just need to be patient when communicating with them.
