  Awesome sunsets....

  We had an amazing time at the property. It is simple....with no frills but located directly on the beach. We booked to stay just a couple of nights, we ended up extending for 4 more days. Would go back. Recommended. The positives: -Staff are pleasant, friendly and very helpful. It's a husband and wife team. -Room is spacious with a separate lounge area. -Felt secure -Reasonably priced Negative points: -Of the 212 TV channels, only 3 are in English. There's no CNN or BBC, so you can't catch up on international or local news. Pray there isn't a disaster. -Lots of mosquitos at nights, so take your mosquito spray or lotion. -The roof in the kitchen area leaked but was repaired immediately when we pointed it out. -Amenities are limited -A few times we find that people would come in front of the villa and sunbathe. We simply and politely ask them to do so further down the beach. We commanded and demanded our privacy.....that beach was ours.

  Good value but some problems

  I am trying to write a fair review so I will keep it brief. Pros, room very tastefully decorated, practically on the beach, and spacious. The little single bed was a nice touch, fast Internet, DVD player. Cheap. Cons. Kitchenette does not have a sink nor does the bathroom sink have a plug and the staff do not wash any bowls, cups etc when they clean, so it stays dirty. The bed was very very uncomfortable and I really don't understand how a new place with such modern fittings has a mattresses that seem to have been kicking round for years with every spring felt. The staff do not have good English and do not seem to know the island well to recommend places to visit and were friendly until we gave them a bag of washing in reception which then disappeared. Whether it was stolen, misplaced, thrown away, who knows but she denied all knowledge of it and then they refused to speak to us or help when we had to file a police report. It was not a good experience. Be careful on the beach as it is full of broken glass. Good restaurants nearby are U2 for Thai food and curries, Shambala had really good salads plus good Thai food too.

  Lovely Location, Amazing Owner

  I stayed at the Full Moon Villas on 9th March, and can honestly say, from the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed. The room was clean and was brilliantly located near the beach. The best part of it was the owner, helpful, kind and lovely! I lost my friend (who was meant to meet me there) and the owner couldn't do enough to help me and said I looked like Julia Roberts which is an amazing compliment! Haha. Would certainly go back. Perfect location near the airport, and next to Bangrak Pier. Highly recommend. Jayne

  Clean, spacious, private & well priced

  Pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Staff was super friendly and accommodating (pardon the pun) especially when I had asked for a room with two beds. The lady gave us another room, no question or argument. The room was really lovely. Modern, clean and spacious. Separate room for the closet, the fridge and of course the bathroom. Each room is separate from the next, in that each has its own little cute courtyard dividing them. The hotel is right on the beach, albeit a small beach. The only thing keeping me from giving an excellent 5 star rating was the water pressure in the shower. It was quite low pressure and was disappointing after having just spent 17 hours in transit. But otherwise, highly recommend a good value for my $50 AUD.

  Didn't like the whole thing

  We booked a two day stay in the hotel, but we didn't stayed there. The room was nice but lack of cleanness, there was no hot shower and we told to the reception, after they showed us all the same type of room without hot shower and later they told us that they won't be able to fix it because the maintanance guy were busy somewhere else for the next two days. Apart of these there is a 10m long beach right next to the pier. The receptionist was really nice. If you don't mind to have no beach and want a place to sleep, than it could be your place, but there are many better options available on the island for the same price.
