    Rude staff, over priced food

The male Thai staff member who takes orders is perhaps the rudest person I've ever encountered in Thailand. The pad Thai was clearly already cooked & came within minutes, cold for 70b... My 70b iced coffee was all filled with ice & didn't taste like coffee at all. I asked to buy an extra shot & he said yes then said no "welcome to Thailand". One of the worst experiences I've had in Thailand, the people are my favourite part about the country, it's a shame that this egotistical man is ruining it.

    Full House Resort fulfills needs

We stayed at Full House for 13 nights in January 2017. This small resort is located a few miles south of Wang Pa Pao in Ban Pa Ngio, a village bisected by the highway between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. This isnt a tourist spot. No parks, shopping meccas, major temples, beaches, museums, tourist sights, nightclubs here merely Thais going about their daily lives, raising their families: in short, the real Thailand. We loved it; we met some great people here. Full House resort consists of a group of small bungalows laid out in a nicely planned and executed landscape. Theyre well built, solid concrete, absolutely soundproof, and small, but quite adequate for a couple. Its situated a block off the highway next to a school, so there is no highway noise nor traffic. The owners, Pui Fai and Artist (yes, thats his name), a young husband-wife team are delightful, charming hosts. Artist and Pui Fai are also the managers, waiter and waitress, cleanup crew, tour guides and all-around-handy man (and woman). Staying there was like staying with a long-lost nephew and niece. And the bonus: the walls and floors in each room are adorned with 3-D murals that are every bit as good as the 3-D paintings in the creative Art in Paradise museum in Chiang Mai. And each one is different. They were painted, incidentally, by Artists father.

    Thailand's saddest truck stop

Stopped here en route to Chiang Rai - ultimately on our way to the slow boat to Laos. This is the most depressing stop we had in Thailand. While it had the potential to be lovely - somehow everything just came together in a perfect storm of kitch, mystery, and disrepair. Maybe it was the bluesy collection of depressing love songs. Maybe it was the inflated prices for uninspired food - because of course they have a captive market from the tours and are the only game in town. I do not recommend this place.

Only came here because the bus stopped here!

Only came here because our bus to Chiang Khong stopped here. After ordering my food I asked where the toilet was and when over there quickly. When I was done I heard them calling out my order, but when I got to the disk my food was gone (thrown away or given to someone else), so I had to wait for them to cook me a new one. When I finally got my food (Pad Thai) the chicken was cold, but the noodles warm and all the noodles was sticking together. Toilet didn't even have any soap!

    Very satisfactory

Rooms clean and reasonable size. Bathroom very good and shower separate from toilet (no slippery floor). Very quiet and not far from the highway. Room lacked table and chairs. Staff friendly and helpful.
