  Could have been excellent if housekeeping is more up to mark

  This hotel has the potential to be a five stars rating hotel should it be able to brush up on its housekeeping standards. Starting off with its pros, it has a big lobby with ample seats for guests. It is also one of the bigger sized hotel in Sun Moon Lake so logically it has more facilities. Its pricing is reasonable when compared to other similar sized hotels in Sun Moon Lake. The room size is big where after housing two double bed, there is still more than sufficient room for us to walk around the room. There also is a hot spring bath in room where we could enjoy the hot spring in the room itself. The cons of the hotel lies in its housekeeping where apart from forgetting to replenish the mineral water for the second night stay, the floor underneath the bed was full of dust and in addition, I found several hotel slippers from the previous guests there. Should I visit Sun Moon Lake again I will probably still consider this hotel as one of my top choice of its pricing remains reasonable.

  Less than Expected

  This is a modern hotel and rooms are up-to-date but something is missing to make it a top resort. The food in the buffet, both for dinner and breakfast is mediocre. The nicest feature of the room is a large, deep bath fed by the hot springs.

  Very horrible mouldy smell

  Im still staying at the hotel while I read this review, its really bad as I want to share with more visitors Please consider other hotel choice at same rate, we felt cheated - the room have a horrible mouldy smell, theres nothing they can do as its a house keeping issues over time - the room they gave us was not the right as book one, when I ask the reception; he replied they do not have the one I want - awful facing of the hotel, where at this rate we could have gone to a sea facing hotel which is plus point in Sun moon lake Very terrible stay, its a proper hotel but was worst than our stay in CINGJING! Avoid this hotel at all time

  Great in room onsen tub and plenty free movies

  This hotel is situated about a five minute walk to eateries and shopping . Although it does not offer any Great Lake views , it more than make up for it by the onsen tubs and rooms facilities . We were given an upgrade to the family suite . Loved this room . There was a sitting area with free biscuits and jello followed by two king size beds with a big tv screen in front that screened free movies . Good choice of movies . Then there was the next room which was the bathroom with the huge onsen that could comfortably sit four people , vanity area , shower area and WC . There was also a big dressing area that housed the safe and fridge that had soft drinks and mineral water. All for free. Simply loved the space. Free Wifi was fast. The pools out side had three hot jacuzzi pills as well as a swimming pool . Breakfast was great with a good choice of Taiwanese and western breakfast . There was also a shop at the lobby selling souvenirs. Will definitely return .

  Great stay

  We stayed here as a family of 3 in a room with two double beds. The hotel is modern and the pool area is great for kids and a had a small hot spring area. Its in a good location, within walking distance to restaurants and shops and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
