    Nicely decorated, but...

We arrived early and first impression of the staff there was nice, as I was allowed to use staff bedroom to change clothes. As we entered the room, I was wowed by the traditional decorations. But later we noticed that the carpet wasn't vacuumed at all, as there were crumbs all over it. Bathtub was moldy, sink tap was flimsy, and even though we paid for the most expensive room, shampoo was to buy only (excuse was that they were saving nature, although other hotels use non disposable shampoo dispensers). Sound insulation was really bad, all kinds of noise from the hotel woke me up every morning. Cigarette smoke was coming to the room constantly (I'm sure it was from the hotel itself, since everyone smokes wherever they want, even at breakfast table). There's no "do not disturb" tag, no safe box, which made me worried, especially after staff here was very curious about the price of art we bought outside. Toilet paper rolls were very small, we needed one each day, and on the last day I had to ask for it at the reception. The lady at the reception was very busy with messaging someone, and I was non existent for a while until I interrupted here. At least the bed was soft.

    Hot water missing

The staff doesn't speak English, only Chinese, but it is very common in the area and not a problem. They offer Foot Massage (65¥). The hotel has bussiness rooms and a common room for breakfast. The buffet was poor. We've stayed at other hotels with chinese breakfast and provide more variety. It is located in a touristic area with lots of bars in the street behind the hotel. When we stayed (during Dragon Boat festival) it was unbearably noisy at night. The room is very big, more like an apartment. Nice atmosphere and decoration, though the furniture looks old. The carpet is dirty and has lots of stains. There wasn't hot water in the shower, but there was in the sink outside the bathroom (next to the room main door, really strange location for the sink), so we had to shower using the kettle which was very annoying.
