  The staff was kind. The views of Fuji and the lake were good, as were the breakfast buffet. HOWEVER, this place was expensive, dated, and with tiny rooms. All in all, I do not recommend as it was not worth the expense.

  Great location

  Some have commented that this hotel needs an update - yes, our room (the combined Japanese/ Western style) did need an update for sure - but the public areas are fine on the whole, and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous in the 7th floor restaurant overlooking either Fuji on one side or Lake Kawaguchiko on the other. Excellent service, great coffee and enormous choice of breakfast options. Nice location and handy for the Red Line Sightseeing Bus.

  Lovely hotel

  This hotel is on a beautiful location right on the lake with stunning views over the water and trees. Traditional hotel with lovely attention to detail. The food was great and the staff friendly. We had a private Onsen with views over Mr Fuji, spectacular!

  Room had views of Fuji & the Lake

  Location of the hotel was fabulous with an easy walk to shops, restaurants & the Ropeway. Beds were a bit too firm. Breakfast was great! Our room had Mt Fuji view and was a good size - but was expensive.

  Outstanding resort & suite

  ROOM: We had a suite on the top floor with views of both Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. Beautiful room with a living area, foyer, bedroom and compact bathroom. Beds are very comfortable. Small balcony off living area. BREAKFAST BUFFET: Outstanding Asian food and Western food. Dinning area provided scenic views of lake and Mt. Fuji. Thai partner gave thumbs up. LOCATION: Within walking distance of train and bus station. Bus stops located just outside of resort. Easy walking in neighborhood area. SHUTTLE: Hotel provided transportation to & from train-bus station. ENTERTAINMENT: The hotels provides quest with kimonos to wear in the hotel. An authentic Japanese Dinner (reservations required) available. Also Spa and other pleasures. Large Gift shop in hotel. STAFF: Friendly and helpful. Spoke English very well. OVERVIEW: Outstanding resort, the very best, with nothing lacking!
