  Great Location. Good Value for Money. Friendly Hotel Staff.

  The hotel room we booked was the deluxe double room on the 3rd Floor. It was spacious and had all the basic amenities working, everything was working fine. It's located along the fringes of the Ximending shopping area so it's location was perfect for us. The staff that were on duty were always so helpful, despite the language barrier. They would really try to get out of their way to help you out if you needed anything. Josie is the most helpful of them all. Really appreciate the extra mile that she would put in for us. Some few minor things: The room smells a tiny bit of cigarette smoke, but goes away when the AC is on. Also, if you're not a fan of firm beds, this might not be the room for you. Lastly, you might miss the hotel lobby from the outside as it is two short flights of stairs up from the door. However, an elevator will be waiting for you on the 2nd floor and you can use that, especially if you need help with your luggage. Overall, the experience was good for what we paid for.

  Ximen Hotel

  So a small and family hotel close to "cinema street" in ximen. The have great bed and some nice new renovation of the bedroom. I like it, not so expensive and easy place to stay at. Because you are at ximen but not all the most places where all people are. Tray the small Japanese restaurant just around the corner of the hotel, great food. The stuff and owner is amazing.

  Great stay

  A great stay, the hotel is in a fab location. The building doesnt look so great when you arrive but its fine inside. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable and the room was spotless clean. toiletries provided plus water and bananas. The lady on reception Josie was lovely and so helpful calling taxis for us and showing me where I needed to go on the MRT map. So many places to eat super close and its only 10 mins walking to the MRT line so a really convienent location. The bathroom let the room down, the shower just stuck straight forward so everytime I had a shower the bathroom flooded!!

  Clean and quiet hotel with affordable price

  Have been staying at this hotel several times this year and it's always clean. Also very convenient if you want to be close to Ximen. Staff is nice and speak English. They have smaller and larger rooms. Also very affordable compare to other hotels in Taipei

  Looked scary in the dark from the outside

  Well I was pleasantly surprised when I went in the door as I was Leary in the dark on my first trip to Asia but the lobby was fine the person at the desk was phenomenal made me feel very welcome my room was small but the bathroom was amazing the bed was great WiFi good tv was awesome about 6 English channels and get this the bathroom wait for it had a sauna in it was awesome after my long flight I rebooked this hotel
