  Optimal place to stay in Northwood, UK.

  Frithwood House is an optimal place to stay for visitors. Its location and environment is perfect. Rooms are good. Housekeepers are very hospitable and kind. Owner is very helpful and cooperative. I stayed 35 days at Frithwood House and I was very satisfied considering everything.

  Tired & Tatty

  Tired decor throughout. Room was tiny with an even tinier washroom, creating a real sense of solitary confinement in HM Prison! Carpet was dirty. Towel service hit and miss. Breakfast was great if you are one who enjoys everything fried and dripping with fat. Good wifi. That's all

  Ideal for Harry Potter Studio Tour

  My sister, cousin and I stayed at the Frithwood Guesthouse for one night to go and visit the Harry Potter tour. The guesthouse was in an ideal position for the tour, just 20 mins away by car. We stayed in the family room, which was on the bottom floor, and was large and bright. The en suite bathroom was big enough and clean. All the staff we met were extremely welcoming. We all said we would stay again.

  Clean, cheap and happy

  Needed a cheap overnight near London. This was brilliant. Great breakfast, Great wifi, Great people (didn't make me feel stupid when I couldn't open the front door - [key goes to the LEFT!]) Tips: local shopping is slightly too far - but during the day you can park for free in the Waitrose carpark c.6 minutes away. On street parking is free from 6.30. Northwood tube is c. 15 minutes walk - so very handy also for Central London. The heating does work but takes time to warm up. Shower - FAB !! In short: this is really good value for money - strongly recommended.

  Not the cleanest place I've stayed

  Not happy with the room at all. Bit smelly of damp and poorly furnished, but we only stayed for one night, so we put up with it. Next morning, got up and went to dining room? To have breakfast. My hash-brown was frozen in the middle. The cook? had obviously got a bag of frozen hash-browns and thought she could flash fry them. I was really glad to get out of there..
