BeautifulI really found this hotel very beautiful and comfortable, clean and modern. Which i love. The position was beautiful, right in front of the beach that you could reach instantly, so many locals were placed in this zone and restaurants went right into the sea!! Very romantic hotel , good breakfast, i loved!!!!

A perfect family holidayWe reserved this hotel for 2 nights, but were so happy, we stayed an extra night. We are a family with 2 small children and stayed in a room with the most magnificent sea view. The hotel is very clean.

Average hotel, Indifferent serviceIn many ways Hotel Frini is a good hotel in a great location. But then again, it could be better. Let's start with the good things: Hotel Frini is located one block from Tolon's narrow beach and right on the high street. Restaurants and shops are close by and if you drive or walk along the beach to the left (as you look at the sea) the beach does get wider. Also opposite the hotel is an island with a small church which I swam out to and back. It's about 3/4 of a mile return. My room (321) at the top had a good sized balcony, places to hang out washing, a fridge, a hair drier, a good sized double bed, a desk for working and a reasonable bathroom with shower. Good so far! Downstairs on the ground floor is a tiny restaurant where an adequate breakfast was served - not much choice but OK for 5 euros. Overall my bill for two nights and two breakfasts came to 79 euros. So it is not expensive. Now let's talk about what isn't so good. None of these are show stoppers but they could make the place a lot better. Car Parking: You could park right outside the hotel on a small road, but that's if you are lucky. Even in October I struggled to find a space and so for one night parked about 200 yards away up the road. Bathroom: Mine smelt of sewage and the drain backed up when I emptied the hand basin. I asked for it to be looked at and that did seem to help. Not enough power points: If you plugged in the kettle you weren't going to plug in anything else. Not enough tea/coffee. It is nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom - but one tea bag and two coffee sachets. And I had to ask for milk and all they had was condensed milk! The lift: The hotel has a small one person lift. It has no automatic safety doors inside. It was OK...but really, in this day and age?! But the worse thing about hotel Frini was the complete indifference of the staff. The receptionist spoke excellent English and was not rude; just indifferent. I felt I was interrupting her all the time to ask for anything and certainly there was no warm welcome. It makes a big difference in a small hotel. So my feelings about Hotel Frini are that it is at best average. The rooms need refurbishing and the hotel staff could be less indifferent. There must be better in Tolon!

Great locationA small hotel in a small Tolon village (Peloponnesos Greece) near the sea. The sea is really only a few dozen meters away and it takes a minute to go to the beach. But you need to get there early because the beach is narrow and occupied by the tavernas. The main street is a narrow one-way street - when the bus stops, the road is completely closed until it goes on But it has made room for pedestrians and allowed bars to raise tables on the sidewalk. However, the locals still drive in both directions, so watch out. The hotel was beautiful, clean, the reception was warm and friendly. An incredibly tiny, slow elevator that has to be opened and closed by itself, but the staircase is an alternative, and if you don't want to carry suitcases along the stairs, there's no alternative The room is nice and clean, the bed is extremely comfortable, especially for this class hotel. Spacious and modern shower room with a stylish glass door. Breakfast was modest. Tomatoes and cucumbers were the only salad. Unfortunately, I do not like breakfast crisps, scrambled eggs and their sausages, so my breakfast consisted mainly of muffins, cheese and tomatoes, plus coffee and juice. I really missed fried egg.. Those who had chosen a dinner package had to go to another hotel of the same hotel chain, about a 10-15 minute walk, and were expected to arrive exactly there (first-time experience). It was not convinient and I was glad we had only breakfast, as there were many different places to eat in the evening. In the evening it was wonderful to walk along the beach and sit outside - the table on the sand or even almost on the waterFor a quick dinner, the best place was down the street the tavern just to the left. We landed there even when we had dinner elsewhere - we found that there was the best local red wine and it was really good. And the service was wonderful In conclusion - it was a good hotel and a nice trip.

Perfect location by the seaThis is a small friendly hotel with rooms that have amazing views of the sea. The rooms are clean and modern and have great showers. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they are always on hand to help and give advice about where to go and what is available in the region. We would definitely book again as the price is very reasonable and the location is perfect, just a few steps and you are on the beach. A few more steps and there are excellent restaurants and bars. Great bus service to Nafplion just at the top of the road.
