  Traditional hotel in a traditional village with super clean rooms excellent views in the mountains great prices amazing homemade breakfast and of course an amazing host . Luxury stay in such a beautiful place highly recommended

  We were warmly welcomed by Anastasia and her staff. Our room was large and well-equipped; the bed was firm but very comfortable, and the room's wifi signal was strong. Each morning's breakfast included fresh-baked items and a wide assortment of breakfast choices. Anastasia was very generous with her time, helping us plan our days in the region and providing a much better route map than we had brought with us. Fretzato is a lovely boutique hotel in a charming mountain village with good tavernas, an hour's drive from Meteora's monasteries and well worth a visit.

  Beautiful little hotel in Elati, one hour away from Meteora.

  We stayed two nights at this hotel during our trip in Greece. We chose Elati because it's reasonably close to Meteora (one hour beautiful drive through the mountains, but you can be arrive in Meteora faster over the highway). I found this drive one of the more beautiful experiences of our journey in Greece. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The hostesses (mother and daughter) are very helpful, and take effort to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms were excellent, mine included even a stove. We had a great view from our balcony over the village and over the mountains. I found the breakfast especially enjoyable. The hostesses make their own jam, and also serve nice extra treats. The mother speaks Greece and German, we managed to get most of our directions in German. But the daughter speaks English, so that's not a problem. All in all I had a great stay, and I can recommend this hotel to everyone.

  Great place

  We visited this great hotel on our visit to Meteora and then travelling to Lefkada island. It is a one hour drive from Meteora in a great mountain village. The hotel and the area are so beautiful. Our room was great, cozy and traditional. We had delicious breakfast in the morning and had the opportunity to taste some homemade jams. Our host was so nice and kind. I am only sorry we couldn't spend more time there. The area is splendid. I definitely recommend.

  Very good location in the center of Elati. Mrs Tasia the owner whas amazing. With handmade traditional breakfast and amazing jams by her. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back. The view from our balcony was extraordinary. Very good service and very clean.
