  Relaxing and Beautiful

  This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. We visited a number of the waterfalls and quaint towns and shops while in the area. The facilities were clean and well kept and the staff is more than willing to help when needed.

  What a spacious condo

  Such a good price for that big condo with 2 decks, comfortable king bed, 2 bathrooms/one with a huge jacuzzi tub built for 2. Also, a bedroom with a full and a twin and an ajoining bathroom. We enoyed sitting on the deck looking at the pond drinking coffee in the morning.

  Excellent

  Better than what we expected! We were a family of 10 (4 were children everything was great, except sofa bed( a little too squeaky and too thin could feel the wire) but other then that it was great!! Definitely coming here again!!!!! (2021) And jacuzzi was our favorite part plus the chimney!!!

  Great location and condo

  We used this condo through Rci and we loved it! The unit itself is spacious with three levels. The three levels make it a little tricky to maintain a consistent temperature across the condo, but we just made the third level a little hotter, so that the downstairs bedroom was not too cold. The view over the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. We loved having two decks to enjoy that Lakeview. The unit was well-maintained. The location is awesome! It is very easy to get to the ski resort or charming nearby towns. With the Condo, you get discounted rates at the ski resort nearby. We will definitely be back! Tons of things to do in this area.

  Fairly nice unit, but many customer service issues.

  Positives: Unit is pretty nice. Full 2 bedroom. Master bedroom is on lower level, with full bath, Jacuzzi tub and balcony with chairs. Washer and dryer is located here as well. 2nd bedroom is on same level as front door. Setup is a bit strange. A twin bed and a full size bed. Room is pretty small but has a full bath right next door. Top level is the living room/dining room/kitchen. Nice updated kitchen. I believe the sofa is also a pullout. Nice fireplace, but everywhere I bought wood, the wood was very wet even though it was supposed to be kiln dried. Television is in an odd spot across the room, and the system they have is a joke. All analog channels. No digital, and no HD. It's like being back in the 80's. Bring lots of DVD's so you don't have to suffer. Negatives: Check in took a long time and staff appeared less than knowledgeable of the process. They originally couldn't find my reservation, but then gave me my keys, but also the keys and check-in information for another unit. Very unorganized. During the week, I got 2 requests from the front desk for me to let maintenance in to do some work. This should not happen during Covid restrictions, as any other hotel I've been, does not allow anyone inside a room after a guest has checked in. Also, why would they assign me to a unit that they knew required maintenance. The resort was almost completely empty, but they give me a different room where the building was full with guests. The maintenance guy told me this unit failed an electrical inspection and they had to replace a breaker. That's great that they checked in a guest into a unit that should not have been occupied. Landscapers used leaf blowers for approx 6 hrs one day, which was also annoying. HVAC units run non stop outside, so no peace and quiet in the outdoors. The worst was when my key expired in the door prior to me checking out, so I was locked out and had to drive to front desk. This delayed my departure by more than 1 hour. This part of North Carolina is beautiful, although most unit do not give you a view. You are in the woods with almost no view. Some units surround a small lake. I also just read another review that says guests that stay here receive a discount at the ski area. There was no mention of this when I checked in. Once again, very little hospitality training and customer service.
