  Family stay during covid

  We really enjoyed our stay in the four seasons hotel in Monaghan, Cant thank patricia enough for organising our stay from booking our swim times, dining times and Santa visit, everything was run to the highest standard especially during these strange times we felt safe and very comfortable, thanks again will definitely be returning in the new year merry Christmas many thanks libby

  Brilliant venue and top class staff

  Was here for my brothers wedding, couldn't fault the place in any way. Staff were so nice, rooms were fab and service was topclass. Food was beautiful. Will definitely be back for a nice long weekend sometime soon.

  Super place for an overnight (and with excellent Covid protocols)

  Have had a really special overnight here last night. Plenty of parking outside, so no problem there. The hotel looked absolutely beautiful as we approached it, and even nicer as we stepped inside. A massive and brightly light Christmas tree greeted us, alongside an almost lifesize Santa statue! Plenty of Covid signs and gel around the place, and only one person per room was allowed to approach the reception desk at any one time. We were delighted the protocols were so obvious. Check in was very prompt and the room we got was large, clean and comfortable and we were delighted to see a hospitality tray with biscuits etc. and all placed in a resealable bag for hygiene purposes great touch. There was plenty of hanging space for clothes, a good-sized TV on the wall, and plenty of sockets all around the room. The TV remote control was also in a resealable bag, so that really shows the commitment of the Four Seasons towards the safety of everyone who uses their premises, guests, staff or whoever. The bathroom had a gorgeous walk-in shower, mood lighting and plenty of fluffy towels. Wi-fi worked without any problem and after relaxing for a while in our room we took ourselves downstairs for dinner. Menu wasnt extensive but what was on it was excellent. We decided to have a main dish and a dessert, so we ordered the Duck and the Supreme of Chicken accompanied by seasonal roasted vegetables and creamy garlic potatoes. For dessert we chose Orange Chocolate Pudding and Christmas Pudding with Warm Brandy Sauce. While we waited for our main course to arrive, we had a good look around and were delighted to see that everyone wore masks when not at their tables, and also the table beside us (at a social distance of course) was cleaned down immediately the diners had left. The food here is just super, we couldnt have asked for more. The duck was cooked exactly as requested and the vegetables and creamy garlic potatoes were to die for. Then came dessert .. wow both arrived on long slender dishes accompanied by a scoop of delicious ice cream. It was an absolutely top-class meal, enjoyed with a couple of drinks. Sleep quality was very good on a big comfortable bed with fluffy pillows .. and then came the fabulously refreshing shower in the morning, followed by a lovely cooked to order breakfast. Honestly we cant fault a thing about our overnight in this hotel and highly recommend it. All the staff we met were friendly and courteous and obviously highly trained in customer care. We will gladly come back here

  3 night stay in Monaghan

  A great place to base myself when exploring Monaghan. Not too far of a, walk from the bus station and Monaghan Town Centre and located next to the Ulster Canal Greenway and also handy for people driving to the hotel by being next to the bypass. Great room and breakfast I had in the Four Seasons Hotel.

  Wedding

  Nicola, Barbara and the team were fantastic in moving our date and accommodating us so quickly, despite covid-19. We cut our numbers from high to a more family and intimate wedding. We had an amazing day and everything flowed so smoothly with the help of the four seasons team. The food was amazing, nothing was an issue with them. We highly recommend the four seasons hotel and thank them for contributing to our amazing day.
