  Regular porque no tiene competencia y asi es mas facil ser el mejor. La habitacion no esta mal, algo oscura y de muebles antiguos. Pero lo peor peor de todo es que en el propio restaurante del hotel, donde sirven comidas internacionales, no dispongan de vino o cerveza, ni tan siquiera bebidas carbonicas como sprite o cocacola. Si quieres comer, has de pasar por regarlo con agua, té o zumo. Es lo que hay. Fantástico.

  A well equipped hotel that provides good service

  Checked in on a Thursday night, straight from the airport. Weary and rundown, the front desk understood, made it quick, ushered into room#738 by the helpful concierges cum doormen. A nice corner view room overlooking the city. Nice bed, clean and comfy pillows, lights OK, mini bar not impressive, plenty of bottled water, towels and other hand towel excellent arrangement, toiletries OK, safety razor could be better, toothbrush could be better, shower water excellent, quiet to the core, alleys could be a little better lit as the carpet drowns the brightness, room numbers on display outside the door though big provide no easy spotting by the non illuminant part of the door number via-a-vis lighting of the alley of the floor. Swimming pool small but nice, good attendant on standby for shower rooms there. Restaurant okay, tasty, though seems not much patronage beyond bfast. Bfast is an OK spread, the staff there fine. I had my little niece and my colleagues visiting me and they felt quiet satisfied with the services n facilities. Lobby lounge has an open air sit out too. Quiet good capuccino at the lounge. I am not sure why they have a piano there for show with none playing it or is the hotel putting it in auto play mode, I am not sure. Security is fine here. In all a good hotel to stay, especially with the advantage of having an easy access to malls nearby.

  One of the better hotel in Medan

  We arrived on a rainy evening and the arrival experience was not so good. When we arrived, we must allow the security at the gate to check our vehicle (I was driving), and then from the gate we drove to the lobby to unload our suitcase. After that, from the lobby to the parking lot, I must exit the property first and then re-enter to get to the parking lot. To my surprise, I must let the security to recheck my vehicle, even though they were the one guiding me from the gate to the lobby and lobby to the parking lot! I was the only car at that time!! It was ridiculous! Lobby size is quite spacious and bright. Check in process was quite fast and efficient. Staff were quite friendly. When we got to our room, the room is nice and clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Few unpleasant things are the rooms is a little dark and the AC is not cold enough to our liking, the shower has a problem on the water pressure (the water was going on and off when we took shower, the warm water is not working well during certain period of time of the day, and the sound proofing of the room is quite bad (we can hear people talking next door, people talking / running in the corridor and it is worst when someone accidentally slam their room door). Breakfast in the hotel was also nice for a hotel standard. The lontong / Indonesian rice cake dish is definitely must try if you stay here. One unfortunately encounter during our first breakfast in the hotel is that we notice the hygiene level in the restaurant is rather below standard for a hotel chain under Marriott Management. The waitress who clear up a table for us did not change the cutleries from the previous guests (she just bring those cutleries to her service table and bring it back again on a tray to create a scene as if it is new). And also a young boy at the egg corner was extremely cold towards customers. He did not smile, and even considered ignoring the guest even when I am standing right in front of him. Overall this is a very nice property, only few mistakes which needs to be improved. Definitely will go back to this hotel if I happen to visit Medan again.

  A nice stay

  Was stayed here for 3 nights. Room, bathroom and lobby was clean, hand sanitiser available in many spots in the hotel. My request to change my room from smoking to non smoking was responded very fast. The hotel staff also responded very well with my request to change my room from twinbed to double bed. The hotel, after got my permission, moved all my belongings to the new room. Staffs were very helpful. Liked the fitness centre that always available and ready any time I request. Breakfast need big improvements. Variety and quality of food, staff availability during first hour, mainly in the egg corner, slow food refilling. Overall a very nice hotel to stay

  Honeymoon

  the hotel is good, the room atmosphere is comfortable, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious and I had a chance to chat with the chef manyo. I really recommend it for those traveling to Medan
